I don't think that's a trading strategy what you did is just you buy early while is not listed yet on other exchanges and sell them one its listed.
This is not always giving you a good result because some coins have events such as giving free airdrops to their participants, so if they distributed a large amount of coin before it was listed, expect rapid price declines and you may end up selling it for a low price.

Maybe on some coins this will work but not always.

I get where you are coming from but that is the reason DYOR is important in using this strategy, i won't do it projects that there will be many distribution or airdrops. Also talking about events although exchanges do that for their users, but i don't think it will affect mine.

Still your changes are not going to be great.

I agree that this can work for for some lucky people and it has worked for me in the past. Upside can be ridiculously high compared to rest of the market and they are popping up like mushrooms in a slow bear run.

Downside is that you need to spend ton of time to even find potential tokens and weeding them out can be frustrating. Most likely you end up investing into scams as well, no matter what kind of research you do beforehand.

They aren't going to be tokens that you can sleep on, because they are low quality projects, or run by scammers and hobbyists that get bored soon. It can be nerve breaking when you are taking highest risk possible to gain max profits. Trying to explain your spouse why would you invest in most irresponsible way is really hard sell as well.

I don't know if you mean buying during the pre-market phase, but this method didn't work for me. I tried buying some coins during the pre-market phase, and when they were listed, their value was lower.

I'm not sure if it's the same, but this method didn't work for me, so I abandoned it. Most of the projects I followed saw their value drop immediately after listing. Perhaps the only chance is to sell immediately after listing. You have to be very quick.

That is the trick, it may not work some people if you pick the wrong ones, and that is exactly why I am not doing it as well. If I did this, then I am pretty sure I would just straight up lose money for the long term and that won't be easy, but if I know what I am doing then it should not be all that easy to handle this and we could have some trouble with it. I get that it may not be easy to fix this, but we need to spend time on learning how to be better at it ,and that means losing money until we get better.

I am not going to do it, and I do not think that we could have any good future if we just keep losing. I avoid it, and I try spot trading and long term investment as my way of making money, which is better.
