Eos, a former market darling, experienced a surge of popularity, particularly during the 2018 bear market where its price defied broader market trends. Dubbed "Blockchain 3.0," Eos was touted as a formidable Ethereum competitor, backed by substantial technological advancements and robust financial resources.

Despite a record-breaking 4B USD ICO, Eos ultimately underperformed due to a confluence of factors: BlockOne's financial mismanagement, a fractured development vision stemming from disagreements with Daniel Larimer, and the emergence of more agile and technically superior competitors. Consequently, Eos failed to achieve a new all-time high during the 2021 bull market, cementing its status as a cautionary tale within the crypto space.

Subsequent revitalization efforts under the ENF proved largely ineffective. Diverse initiatives, including Helios, secure DeFi, GameFi, Inscriptions, EVM compatibility, and the Antelope protocol, failed to reignite the ecosystem's momentum, leading to a sustained price decline and widespread investor disillusionment. Currently, the ecosystem's hopes rest on the RAM & exSat experiment, which is generating renewed, albeit cautious, optimism within the community.

Eos has recently undergone a significant transformation, encompassing a logo and tokenomics overhaul, culminating in a rebranding centered around "Web3 Banking" under the "Vaulta" moniker. This initiative, potentially drawing inspiration from the successful "Vault" concept on DefiBox, will also introduce a new ecosystem token, details of which remain undisclosed.

While the potential impact of this rebranding is uncertain, it appears to be a strategic experiment for Eos, a project seeking to revitalize its image. ENF attributes the project's past struggles to a lack of investment from BlockOne, but this narrative overlooks Solana's remarkable recovery following the FTX collapse. The ENF's attempts to replicate such a revival for Eos in 2022 were ultimately hampered by the crypto winter.

Despite harboring no illusions of success, I will closely monitor Vaulta's development throughout the year. I currently hold no EOS tokens. Fundamentally, I believe a "market purification" is necessary, allowing capital to concentrate on projects that deliver genuine value to the community.

I'd like to know your opinion on this:
  • Have you ever invested in EOS tokens? What were the results?
  • Do you still believe in the future of Eos/Vaulta after this rebranding event?
  • Will you invest in this new native token in Vaulta ecosystem?

Have you ever invested in EOS tokens? What were the results?
Yes but I was really disappointed. I sold in loss of money. But if I had not sold it earlier, I would have been in more loss of money.

Do you still believe in the future of Eos/Vaulta after this rebranding event?
I do not believe in altcoins long term value. They are not store of value.

Will you invest in this new native token in Vaulta ecosystem?
I do not know about this and I do not want to know. Not to talk of investing in it.

1. Have you ever invested in EOS tokens? What were the results?

Not investing, I just bought it in the market for speculation purposes. It was a long time ago, around 2021 Cheesy.

2. Do you still believe in the future of Eos/Vaulta after this rebranding event?

No, from the beginning I didn't believe in EOS (EOS), even if they rebrand, it doesn't mean anything, because they don't have anything new that can change the game in the crypto ecosystem.

3. Will you invest in this new native token in Vaulta ecosystem?

Again, I will not invest, because investing means believing in the project. I don't believe in the project, therefore I call it a speculative purchase in the market. Is it possible that I will buy it? OFC, if I get the right moment to buy it.

I was one of those who invested on to it and made money but after buying back, it got me disappointed. Only those block producers are making money in this project and the ones holding a small amount just lost patience and sold for less.

Didn't track any news about it until recently they were removed from the ranking and now they come back as Vaulta. Its like rebranding, I think they have tried rebranding before as well. The though of it having no transaction fee was good but didn't work.

I was wondering why so much of volume is just going into this almost dead coin and now I came to know it's like shifting its blockchain or something. We might have already lost our chances to get profit from this news as the coin seems to have rose a good amount since last week. There are so many coins to look at and so many ups and downs these days that its hard to track any large movements even in high cap coins. As I have already missed the train all I can do is wish good luck to anyone still holding. But I have doubts about how well it would perform as they have repeatedly failed my expectations.

    • Have you ever invested in EOS tokens? What were the results?
Once a long time ago, about a few years ago, i bought and held it for about 2 months and then sold it with an accumulated loss.

    • Do you still believe in the future of Eos/Vaulta after this rebranding event?
Absolutely not, i don't think for a second that i would waste money investing in this token again.

    Quote
    • Will you invest in this new native token in Vaulta ecosystem?
No and no, it's hard to put my trust in this token again, maybe a little traumatised by the losses i've experienced in the past.

EOS is the hardest and complex blockchain network so far, users are confused about using the wallet because it's requires you buying a certain RAM to set up.
In the past year, EOS has never done great in the market, decrease over time and it's been a long time they experience new ATH.

If they are coming to Vaulta, then it should be easy to use and less transaction fees, don't know if Vaulta will still need some amount of RAM to be deposited also before setting up Vaulta wallet.

Could this Vaulta also enable other dev to integrate more projects on them because for the past years, no outstanding projects had ever built on EOS, it's just a sole blockchain.
