as cashapp requires KYC, it should hopefully help a lot in this case - unless they are somehow using some stolen identification - hopefully they are not that smart of a dumb ass criminal.

it looks like about half of the tracked items have been redeemed so far

Took a look at these, and a good chunk of the funds went directly to cash.app so it should be pretty easy for police to ID the thieves or at least the people cashing out for the thieves.

OP shoot me a DM and I'll just send you exactly what you need to send to the police, and then they can get an easy win and look smart to their supervisors.

I sent you a private message, Thank you I will send you an  reward if I can get some back.

I had a secure storage unit where they promised. Fire protection, door alarms, and camera. I was a victim, and facility won't let me see any records and the police tell me it was probable tweekers and the front desk girl.  This is a beware notification and they are using a breakdown blockchain.

Looking for an attorney who specializes in Crypto, blockchain, and neglectful situations.

People say that a bank safe would be much secure than an ordinary storage place.

Anyway, keep going and dont let it turn you down. We're looking forward to a good result from the case. Cheers, man.

Any sort of an update on this will be welcomed when you have something to report. Seeing this thread is a horrible reminder of how evil people can be and I hope you are able to get justice. In the meantime, I’d like to offer to send you a coin to help get you back on the path. Reach out to me via PM with an address if you’re interested.

Yikes!  My heart sank when I saw the list.

Ugh.  I'm not a collector of physical BTC coins, but I had much the same reaction.

I'm not trying to be nosy, but are you in/near San Francisco by any chance?  You said the manager was letting homeless people in the storage facility and I just saw a mini-documentary about how bad SF has become, and I was blown away just looking at the footage.  Not sure what the lockdown period is that you mentioned, but still.  You've got my sympathy, buddy and I'm sorry for your loss.

Yup, I've been scammed before (but nowhere near the magnitude of this) and it made me feel fucking violated and furious beyond belief.  Any chance the funds from the peeled coins can be traced and used to track down the perps?  It sounds like OP's local law enforcement doesn't give a shit, but if he's got a lawyer involved, that lawyer ought to be advocating for him.

Edit: By the way, this crime seems like it's a hell of a lot more than burglary.  It sounds more like grand theft robbery or however robbery is classified.

Damn, just reading that hurts... no way I’d wanna be in your shoes

Seems like multiple people were involved. Pretty strange all of it.. the coins were redeemed over a period of more than two months.. this whole thing’s really sketchy… all signs point to an insider job. You can’t just get lucky finding a stash of loaded collector coins and then know how to peel and sell them like that

Some coins are still loaded – they’ll probably be offered for sale soon, or the private key was damaged or became unreadable during peeling.

Here’s hoping greed kicks in and he tries to sell the coins... maybe even on eBay or here.. the thief deserves to have their hands broken. REPEATEDLY

It's a bad lesson for all other people who've still stacked their physicals
in ordinary storage house. They should move them to the bank safes asap.
