It seems that if there is a new casino that implements KYC early, it is clear that it will not be able to invite many players to register on its site. Gamblers will certainly look for comfort first, unless the casino site is already popular and has been around for a long time, implementing the KYC system is a natural thing because KYC is one of the safeguards to verify each player's data.
That is why casino team realize they can not used that way to invite more gamblers to visit on their site. Most casinos will apply KYC when their members wants to withdraw a big amount of money. But if that money is not too big, casinos can understand and will process the withdrawal. Yes, gamblers will search for their casinos that they want by research because they don't want to get in a hard situation such as doing KYC in the beginning they register or else. They want to have a comfortable casino that will give them the pleasure to playing gambling in their site.

Are there any online casinos that accepts KYC verifications before you start gambling after creating a new account on the platform? Something similar to what we always see crypto exchanges do to their customers? I am just curious
You open a new account on a crypto exchanges they will advice you to complete your KYC verifications first, some won't even allow withdraws until you complete the verifications. I think if online casinos starts doing the same there won't be the fear of getting robbed after you win, because most KYC verifications would already be passed right from the beginning.
Do you think that this was intentional? Maybe to find reasons why they can't process your withdrawal? I think about the same too, but what about online casinos will enough credibility already? I mean very popular online casinos.
I think if they had to KYC every single customer, even the ones with small deposits, they would have a lot of work on their hands I think. But if they wanted to "rob" you, they could find/give other reasons to do so. Doing KYC beforehand is just more comfortable so that you don't get stuck waiting for KYC approval when you are ready to withdraw.

If you want to gamble on Stake.com (Stake.us for United States customers), you will not be able to deposit money until you have submitted KYC document and get verified.
I really hope every casino who have KYC policy will implement this rule, so customers will not be shock when they need to withdraw as not all gamblers want to do KYC and they can find a new one with out KYC. i hate kyc. not only does it completely prevent privacy, but it also gives my information to people i don't want.
I don't think this is correct. If you're playing in a legitimate KYC casino, meaning they have a license, they are required to keep your information confidential. In fact, there are third-party services that verify your information on behalf of the casino, so the casino itself doesn’t directly store such data. Maybe there's just a misunderstanding about KYC, which is why you dislike it. But whether we like it or not, KYC is here to stay. Here in my country doing KYC is not good. even if you apply a credit card and fill up a form,. you are not safe anymore if you do that and you number andemail will receive promotional ads and scam text. That is why i really dont like doing KYC.

I don't think it's intentional in the first place; the reason that your withdrawal is declined is because of violating the terms of the casino ; you will have no issue at all whether you do a KYC or not if you did not break any of their terms, as long as you are confident that you can pass the verification without any issues even if you do the verification later. Casinos are implementing a KYC later because they want players to test their platforms first; many players have second thoughts about giving their information if they are not sure that this is the casino that they want to play most of their session.

The time I joined Stake, it was possible to a gambler to sign up, deposit, gamble, win and withdraw even up to $10,000 without kyc verification, but they will sure ask for kyc verification if you are withdrawing an amount of money that is above $10,000. But today and right now, alot of changed I think, the casino have made kyc verification mandatory for all users, both for the high and the lower rollers, and the last time i read about the new policy, I learnt that those signing up on the Stake for the very first time are now required to pass a mandatory kyc verification before they will be allowed to make any deposit to their account and or play any game, this (like you explained) is how crypto exchanges operates, and I think it's the best way because right now, user no longer have to worry about future kyc verification if or when they win a huge amount of money and are going to withdraw. So, Stake.com is definitely one if the best casinos to look at or try out of you are looking for casino where kyc immediately after registration and don't have to worry about kyc again for life, this is another type of peace of mind.

You surely did waste your money for being lazy to read the ToS if ever you really made a deposit on a casino that can ask KYC anytime while you don’t want to share ID credentials to the casino. There’s only few casino nowadays that doesn’t ask KYC and your choices are very limited if you are not willing to do KYC in online casino. Most of the crypto services is now asking for KYC though.

What is stopping you from getting verified before funding the casino wallet? Even when we don't have mandatory KYC, I still prefer to get verified to avoid the late withdrawals when I win something like an epic win on slots. It is not intentional but just a convenient to get verified whenever they want too and also if they implement strict KYC just to deposit or start playing then they might lose their customers so it's bad for them and if we are worried about then we should act responsible and get verified as soon as possible.

Once it comes to gambling, you will see a variety of casinos with their ToS which differs from each other, some may ask for the kyc right before the start while some along the line and some may not even bother you in asking for kyc, if we can check through some of the gambling board and gambling discussion threads here, we will see some of the casinos with their requirements as being announced on their threads, which may ultimately gives further information as it may applies to what we want from choosing a casino.

I think you can still use exchanges without KYC, but most of the features will be disabled. You can make deposits, but withdrawal will cause you to verify your account. It is the same for the casinos. You can keep on playing until you reach a certain threshold or you did something that will raise a flag and you account gets limited unless you verify your account. And no, just because a casino asked you to go through KYC verification, it doesn't mean they wont scam you. If they are there to scam you, they will scam you. They will even steal your KYC data if their intention was to scam people. Play only in well known trusted casinos.

All casinos do have many options, whether they require KYC or not, but now casinos that do not have KYC can be interpreted as meaning that they are not closely monitored by the government as an agency that oversees casinos to maintain security and also to ensure that there is no fraud or embezzlement, also dealing with questionable licenses so that currently it is used as a standard for safe and regulated casinos.

There are some online casino platforms who want new account curators KYC verification. But most casino side doesn’t require KYC verification. This is because the new user can be quick. For the new user can easily deposit money to the account, casino platforms give new users the opportunity without trouble. The job of the casino platform is to attract people. They constantly attract people to their website so they keep the trouble low. So that the user use the casino platform without any trouble. Besides, some casinos, especially crypto casinos, where transactions are performed with cryptocurrency, are also introducing some hardness on KYC verification, so that they can maintain security against immoral use of their platform. can.

Money launderers can play on a casino for a few rounds then deposit some dirty money and then they can withdraw the dirty money alongside the winning money. This is just an assumption of what they do since I do not launder money.
If you deposit a small amount of money, play with it, have a small win and want to withdraw it, you will be allowed to, but if you make an extra deposit from outside the casino and want to withdraw immediately, the casino will want you to meet the wager requirement for that new deposit, which in most cases is usually for you to wager up to 100% of what you have deposited, and if you are able to sustain the balance, then you can withdraw, but I don't think there is any casino that allows deposit and withdrawal instantly without that mandatory requirement unless the deposit will be returned to the address that sent it.

In my country there are many licensed local online casino that doesn't require KYC but you can only able to play on these casino if it's connected to online wallet app that requires KYC. Withdrawal are unlimited and no restrictions I trust these local casinos because I already tried them and its recommended by the local wallet app. The good thing is local casino here are easy to access just deposit and you are ready to gamble. Unlike other online casino if you are going to gamble like most of the casino here in the forum KYC is mandatory. I am hoping that someone will develop an wallet app for crypto with one time KYC that can just connect to any online casino without asking for KYC. Same as our local wallet app here in my country.

Well, as far as I know, you can play without KYC but if they later ask you to do a mandatory one and if you refuse to do it, you only have a right to withdraw the deposited money but not the winnings.
Which is usually what happens when people complain about "casinos stealing their funds". But it is your choice in the end.
Most online crypto gambling sites have their own terms when it comes to KYC, hence, usually, you need to comply the kyc requirement on their site itself. Now, it is possible what you have suggested that you only need to connect your wallet to the site and there's no need for you to comply kyc on the site. That is, if the site will recognize the app that you are using. But for now, most online casinos are not yet connected to third party wallet app as you need to deposit directly on their site. Such route is very possible but the site should integrate that payment method in order for them not to require their player with kyc protocol.

As far as I know, no one can implement selective KYC. They are most likely going to get in trouble with the government in that situation. If they are going to apply KYC for one person then it should be for everyone. Disregard the amount of money they are depositing or withdrawing. The rule should apply for everyone. If not then the rules are bound to get confusing at some point.

So what I did was just to waste the money, because I don't want to expose my card details to them.
I think you're very much mistaken for saying that I was being lazy to read the tos, and how did you even know about that? And of course I do read the tos before joining the platform but then they didn't mentioned anything about KYC verification in the tos. not until when i decide to make withdrawal that was when they ask for KYC,The truth is that I wasn't expecting that which is why I decided to let it go. There’s no such reputable casino will do that. Can you provide the casino website so that we can verify the ToS? If your statement is true then you can raise a concern about them because it’s unprofessional for a business to require KYC without stating it on their ToS. They can’t impose KYC unless it was stated on their TOS especially if you are sure that you read it carefully and so that they stated the “no KYC” part.

In my opinion, doing KYC is not a bad thing. KYC deepens the relationship between an institution and a user. If you want to withdraw money without KYC, they may not let you withdraw. They may scam you. So I don't feel comfortable doing transactions with any institution without KYC.
