The usefulness of having strategy as a bitcoin investor

My Goal was to make $10k and I was pretty confident that in the upcoming pumps, I would achieve this as I did not only invested in BTC as I knew with less amount I won't be able to make 5x with BTC so I purchased many ALTs (big mistake here, I bought 12 different alts).

Deciding to invest in altcoins is not a mistake, it's just that altcoins have a higher risk compared to Bitcoin, we know that when the price of Bitcoin drops by 5%-10%, altcoins can be greatly affected, prices can experience a decline of more than 50%, this is where the risk is if you decide to invest in altcoins, but besides that, the benefits generated are certainly also greater, prices can increase significantly in a short time, especially when the token is in a narrative that is popular now such as AI, RWA, etc.

It all comes back to your strategy, the losses you can afford, if look at your target, it is quite difficult to achieve that with a small risk, you have to take a big risk if you want to make a big profit, high risk high return.

Plans are usually for the long hauls, so if we are only in for a quick buck, then it can be fine to not have a plan at all. Spreading is indeed one way to reduce risk but we won't just spread blindly here but we also need to think properly, to be able to pick up the best and profitable items. A Bitcoin investor that isn't commited to a well structured strategy will only end up counting losses all the time, having a strategy that works is one of the attributes of a good investor. I find this to be very true because inasmuch as a strategy is super important for every investor, it can only be useful when the investor in question has an idea of what he’s investing in and exactly how to apply this said strategy to make it effective and all these can only be possible through mentorship and intensive research. It’s tough sometimes but you have to detach yourself emotionally from the price volatility sometimes. Even right now we are over 25% down from ATHs. If you can regularly buy & ignore short term price movements, then you will do very well with Bitcoin. You should buy regularly & be willing to hold for many years.

Bitcoin is the long term investment but that could be a medium term investment especially if the price can jump to the high price in a short time. If I claim myself as an investor then I must have an idea of investment and how to invest I will get profit or how long I can hold the investment to get a good amount of return from my investment but we need to know. Suppose an investor is interested in investing in Bitcoin but he has no idea about the investment but then it will be seen that he is not able to invest at the right time and due to some changes in the market he is getting excited due to which he is not patient but will sell his investment by doing this but the desired investment goal will not be achieved.
