Ironically enough, I was thinking about April Fools moments before logging in to my Bitcoin Talk account.  Yet I was still fooled by the Poker and almost had a heart attack looking at my striked out Merits.

The new system is way better.
I lost my initial merit, got into debt I took a mortgage, lost that all, I pawned my dog and now I'm digging in my garden to reach my steel seedphrase to buy some moar pmerit.

This is a much-needed improvement for the forum!

Unfortunately for those that have not yet logged in, they are completely unaware of the pMerit system replacing the current merit system. I hope they do manage to find their way to the forum before midnight tonight otherwise they will have to read posts and look at screenshots to have an understanding of what they missed

Nah bro "T" stands for "Ten"... they probably just didn't want to put multiple numbers on each card. So its before the Jack.

@theymos mind always works on 1st April which is amazing because in last few years I check every time he is having good and unique ideas on just 1st April other days he is sleeping like Crocodile.

But still I will be happy if he is bringing any new merit system because old one is not working for me so hopefully with this new system I will be able to have enough merits.

Thank you for this great poker, now it will be easier to earn merits.
Or we can lose all our merits. I think this is easier, playing poker is very fun but no matter how much you win, you always lose in the end

Is it that there are those who actually sleeps in the forum?   Anyways, i'm unable to comprehend the context of the OP so i would need explanations. How does the pmerit works and about the poker playing whatever, seems it's time to sack those of us who are not conversant with poker playing.

However, about the merit system, to the best of my knowledge, it has already been 7 years since it was introduced so it won't be bad if we test something different and it's high time we make this forum become more funful than stricter, April's fools aside

These pages get full quite quickly whenever theymos publishes the updates every year 

On a serious note, I am not a fan of the merit system. It has advantages (as well all already know) but the way the merit system operates makes it a target for those with nefarious intentions. It is open to abuse.

Really??? I don't think you are enjoying it with the much -99999 debt you have now. If it's in real life, I am sure you will be seriously sweating by now, even if there is an AC and is reduced to the lowest temperature.

Hilarious, no lower bounds apparently, should have bet a billion pMerits.

I won a lot of PMerit before you entered the race, and when I saw you, my mind told me to quit, but I stayed out of greed, and I ended up losing a lot of PMerit. Nevertheless, I hope we may meet again because it will be tough.


 poker game has made this forum more enjoyable, I hope it will remain here permanently.
