I think this is a good step to take by the government in order to ensure that people do not lose their hard earned money in Ponzi schemes.

Me I know say our government matter get as e be, the government don talk am already say dem go Dey arrest promoters of Ponzi scheme, but recently CBEX scam people, and people Dey online that period Dey promote CBEX, and government no hustle those people wey Dey promote am that period, now wey e don crash na him dem Dey talk say EFCC go recover the money back, wey I know say e no Dey possible.

If the government really Dey serious about that, na people wey Dey promote the CBEX,  na dem they suppose hustle now, make government arrest them, at least those people go serve as example to people wey wan run am later in the future, but dem lock up now like say Dey no even talk anything.

The newly signed Investments and Securities Act (ISA) 2025 go make am hard for people wey dey start Ponzi for our country, and those wey dey promote am  to continue as they can serve jail term up to 10 years for it and even pay huge fines up to 20 million.

This is a good policy initiative which is very welcomed but again the country which we find ourselves has certain loopholes in terms of dishing the laws and the consequences attached to breaking accordingly especially when the bourgeois are involved in such matters.

According to the news way I read yesterday I see say the 4 people way people been carry come out give government EFCC been eon declare them wanted for their involvement in the CBEX scam, although you know as things dey happen inside the country but since na something wey don enter inside law already and them don pass am into law, I believe say it them catch those people hand go touch them and them fit go serve for jail unless them go use money work their ways out you know say corruption no dey finish for our judiciary system. Ponzi schemes promoters and operators are walking scotfree every blessed day of their lives. They don't panic because they know the country they lived in, where power and influence kick against the rule of law of the country. This is Nigeria, we're living here and exactly understand the predicament of the country, how we're able to know the in and out of the country's budget. I would simply conclude that the nation is already corrupted and there's actually nothing anyone can do to correct it.

EFCC are agency build for the purpose to reduce cyber crimes in the countris, not only stalking the youths of the country but also turning focus on the politicians who lured billions upon billions every day, it's actually unfair to see how the country treats those that lacks the desirable funds and power. Well we depend on God and its well.

In my view, it is important to put the Ponzi schemers behind bars. Of course the problem is not just the perpetrators but also the climate in which they are able to survive. A country cannot be a playground for fraudsters if not because the laws aren’t there, but also because the laws very often do not move. They know very well the loopholes that they can exploit and hence, many of them dare to step forward. Therefore it feels like forever while there is nothing and when there finally is one firm action, it is like a voice, a voice that breaks through and lets you know at least there is a red line, there is a red line that cannot be crossed.

But if you ever get annoyed as you see these fraudsters repeatedly get away with it then you are not alone. However, if this is applied constantly, they create room for trust to be established. This is not to scare people but to show the people of this country that they still have judiciary on their side. Punishment should not only be a warning but that it is a proof that for each lie is a price. In and of itself that should make anyone think twice about making others suffering their livelihood.
