High fees for USDT on Ton chain (Solved)

So i don't use altcoins all that much, that's why i think i should ask this here, so more experienced users can help out.

I withdrew around $105 USDT from a casino into my Unstoppable Wallet via the Ton chain, and now i want to move the coins into an exchange, and the fees to move it is around 6.91 Ton Coin, which is $28.1, that is crazy and i want to know if this is how high the fee usually is if you want to send USDT via the Ton chain.

I don't play much in Ton ecosystem after I stopped following the campaign activities on its network such as tap to earn and others related to Ton Chain and during my activities it did have many fee variants on its transaction activities so that I accumulated from the many activities it did have a fairly high fee than the Sol, Sui network, let alone BNB and yes one of the reasons why I stopped there was because the fee was quite expensive.

Tips and tricks you have to have more profit than the fee that must be issued.

6.91 ton fee is absurd. Maybe the network is more congested at the moment and you could wait some hours to get cheaper fees. Tron indeed had changed with huge fees.
I stopped using Tron just because of those fee. A few years prior I didn't had to spend anything until I had energy in my wallet but now the fees have gone up. Even the withdrawal fees of Tron and USDT on Tron has increased so much that it's now much cheaper to deal with BSC network. It's not just USDT but every tokens on Tron now takes large fees.

I remember there was a time I wanted to make transaction on Ton blockchain, it was USDT and the fee was $12. I quit using the network at the time till now. Maybe it is the network congestion but I do not know as I have little knowledge about altcoins.

It is Ton network and not Tron network. I think BSC has the cheapest fee right now.

It usually doesn't cost that much, it must be based on something, but I can't explain it because of my lack of knowledge about this network. It could be like Tron network which has been having crazy fees for sending tokens lately. Also, it is noted in Ton's Docs that sending Jetton (the standard token on the Ton network) only costs around 0.037 $TON.

It can be a valuable experience for you to avoid networks that you don't fully understand the information, in the future, try to process all $USDT transactions through the BSC network or at least on the Aptos network. These 2 networks have become quite strong lately for the purpose of sending $USDT.

All i may have to tell you to do is in making use of a more cheaper network that you can be able to afford its fee, ever since i deduced that sending USDT on most of the networks is not as free or cheap as before, then now i have been considering on the use of APTOS network in sending my USDT, its the cheapest and fastest so far for now, you pay $0.05 0r $0.03 as transaction fee in sending using this network, try it and see.

Its in the TON chain so there is nothing left but to pay if this is the standard fee. Unstoppable has a decentralized exchange, can you trade it to USDT in BSC inside that unstoppable wallet dex?

I have no idea about the unstoppable wallet but if its possible to trade the stablecoin to some other chains, you might save a few bucks at least.  If you wanted to play in TON, just buy more TON and trade on the telegram exchange.

That is what i thought too, but so far in this thread i don't think anyone understands it too. Could it be network congestion? If it is, then i do not mind giving it some time, because i do not need the money urgently.

$28.1 usd for just one transaction is just ridiculous i think, because if you use other networks, like solana or tron, it's not even $0.1 with that amount of transaction value. i don't really understand about this ton network, but my experience with this network is also not so pleasant since i once failed to withdraw ton from my casino because i didn't enter a memo. from there i reduced using this network and prefer to use tron ​​or solana. besides the fees are much cheaper, it doesn't require a memo.

$28 is absolutely unnatural! These are very large and unnatural fees. I don't think the TON network charges all these fees, even during busy times.

I've used TON to withdraw USDT a lot, but I've never paid more than 1-2$, and it's usually less than $1. I don't know if it's different with the wallet, but I use the CoinEX exchange, and these fees today are as shown in the image:



I recommend using USDT on the BSC network, as it's the cheapest of all.

That's far from the highest that I've paid for a desperate transaction. But compared to the past when networks have been totally in traffic, there is no way that I am going to pay that fee when most networks are smooth and not in traffic. I've lost my faith with the TON network when the momentum on them was gone and they didn't felt the community is thriving and didn't kept it. If there is a way for you to choose another network, do it. I'd avoid doing any transactions with TON for now but I've got some tokens holding on it dedicated during the hype and still in losses while holding it.

which fee are we talking about? if it's deposit fee charged by exchange then you should complain, if it's the tx fee imposed from the wallet, then the wallet is the problem here.

maybe, have you tried using other wallet? maybe the one that's recommended officially by the ton team?

TON blockchain in itself was supposedly cheap, scalability is pretty good and I'm sure each tx costs few pennies or less. sounds like you are getting tricked here.

So guys, the issue has been solved.

I deposited around 7 Toncoin to cover the fees as i saw in my Unstoppable wallet, but when i did and made the transaction, i spent around 0.013 Toncoin, lol, which is very very cheap. So i guess the fees was very cheap, but i don't know why my wallet was showing me the fees to be 6.91 Toncoin, it is crazy, but as i said before, i don't know too much about altcoins, but i am glad i did not spend that much on fees. I deposited around 7 Toncoin to cover the fees as i saw in my Unstoppable wallet, but when i did and made the transaction, i spent around 0.013 Toncoin, lol, which is very very cheap. So i guess the fees was very cheap, but i don't know why my wallet was showing me the fees to be 6.91 Toncoin, it is crazy, but as i said before, i don't know too much about altcoins, but i am glad i did not spend that much on fees. That's so good if that's what happened so, it's possible that there was a bug on your Unstoppable Wallet. Check it out if there are some newer versions available ready to download because that's likely the issue but if not, then that's an internal problem on them that has been encountered on the TON. Anyway, the thread has served its purpose so nice to hear it went okay.
