Something similar has happened to me before. It is just like when I wanted to pick Manchester, but I mistakenly picked the opponent because both teams were given 2 odds. The funny part is that the opponent actually won the game  but I still didn’t win the bet because it was a combined matches, means I picked so many teams just to have big odds in total, but it was the team I didn’t expect that ended up spoiling the ticket.

What happened to me may have happened to many people. For some, it even led to luck. That happens when you don't look at the type of league or the game you are making your bet on. I often make the mistake of betting on virtual games, Fifa tournaments, thinking those are real games being played, and then when I open the betting page, it shows the live video and then I realize it's a virtual game, and you know things will surely be different in a video game because even a small team can beat a top team since it's a person controlling the game and they can score more than you might expect them to.

It seems you didn't check carefully before making the selection, it happens to everyone so it's normal. I remember doing something like this and I ended losing my bet because I picked an srl. I don't know if all bookies do this but it's possible to filter the games you don't need , if you do this properly srl won't pop up on your app. But srl can also be good sometimes the only downside to it is that they are controlled by the bookmakers. This reduces the chances of winning. The only difference between these games and sport virtuals is the duration, I think they play for about 90 minutes like a regular football game.

Hahah OP this happened to me quite a few times and you know what is more funny ? I celebrated like a kid when the suppose team was winning just to get completely devastated when I realized I made the wrong choice   and that is sad and funny at same time.

I don't know how you can accidentally mix up real football and simulated football, but I completely agree with women's football - I've been caught doing it myself. It's especially unpleasant to find a mistake after you've picked a long multi-bet (and sometimes in a hurry to make a bet with good odds) since hedging or cashing out a multi-bet is very expensive.
And yes, if I don’t get enough sleep, I check everything several times because my attention becomes scattered.

It is good bringing it here,to remind us of situations like these so that we should be focus and not absent minded, when placing a bet, a lot of persons have been a victim of this costly mistake because they don't properly check to know if it is the one they have really chosen, what if you have played it with a very huge amount of money and finds out that it was a wrong choice you made, it wouldn't have been good at all, that is how some persons lost huge amount of money unknowingly, therefore it is important we cross check our. Choice of  club to be sure before placing a bet on them, since the funds can't be refunded.

From what I have experienced, if it's not a game that is happening in the future...it usually ends up being a case of a game from a whole different league that I have no clue about but turns out to be a winner, while the known club either loses or draws the game offering a double chance for me in some way

Sometimes you will be told that cashout is not available and sometimes too, you may not know that you have made such mistake until after the game and you will go and check your winning but only to realize that you made a mistake which you did not notice on time. You only realize the mistake after the game has already ended and nothing can be done. Since I made this mistake, I have been more careful that I have not seen it repeating again.
