There are websites you can use to check if another website is down for everyone or just you. Just enter the url and they'll check that with their own IP addresses so that you can know if it is just you who are blocked. Something like this: https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/mempool.space?proto=https or this: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

The first time I loaded it, it was kind of slow, but the next time refreshed and 2nd time of loaded it, it went smoothly.
If it says 'solved' in the title, then I think OP has figured it out, and the API that he needs there is probably working already. So, this thread should be closed and has served its purpose.

One thing I have noticed about mempool.space is that sometimes if you have just visited the site, it may not load at all or very slow to load, but if you continue to try it, it will later load. I do not know the reason the site is like that. Just keep on trying next time to know if it will load or not.

Also there was a time it loaded on my second device and was not loading on my first device, but later it also loaded on my first device.
