So from your own perspective, what do you think is among disadvantages of gambling with what you have?

Well, we all know the disadvantages of gambling, and one of them is that after winning, you often end up losing a large amount. But for me personally, this only happens if you become greedy and don’t set a limit when playing.

What I mean is, when you face losses, it's better to stop and come back tomorrow. Don’t force the situation. Unfortunately, most gamblers chase their losses and even touch their savings until the situation becomes very bad.

To avoid this, it's better to have a good mindset. Never gamble if you have problems or if you're busy and can't focus on the game you're playing. Coz the most important is you must stay focused so you can control your emotions and you know when to stop or not. Be smart enough, that's what i can say.

I think profit and loss in gambling are common and those who say that losses always happen certainly need to be questioned.

I think that one of the main disadvantages of gambling is the lack of control over money and the risk of getting carried away by emotion during games... it is quite common for us to feel confident to continue playing and multiply our winnings instead of withdrawing the amount and setting it aside to achieve a specific goal.

Obviously, in a scenario of losses this is also a problem, especially when someone is playing with money that they cannot afford to lose and has the pressure to continue playing to try to recover the losses, which can lead to a spiral of debt and financial problems.

Unfortunately, this affects not only the person who is gambling, but also their relationships with family and friends.

I know that there is a lot of controversy about what I am going to say, but I still defend the idea that games should be a form of entertainment, but that the reward is real money. But the main goal should never be profit.

His money lol. Personally, I'd do the same BUT I calculate it to offset whatever future deposits I have for my next session instead. Now, I wouldn't assume I'm going to win more though, that's just dumb. Personally think anyone who thinks like that IS dumb.

The only real disadvantage of gambling is that it brings out the greed of people, which leads to bad decision making. You have done something right as a good friend also by allowing your friend to do what he wants when he rejects the advice you give and in the end yes as we see that now he must really regret not following your words.

Moving the results of the victory to something else that is more certain as a way to grow money is a good idea such as one of the investments you suggest which one of them might allocate some of that money in the spot market, because when we put it back into gambling then surely in the end losing will be the definite answer instead of increasing.

This makes a whole lot of sense cause he was able to hold himself/herself accountable for whatever was his/her fate as a result of not taking your advice. I can imagine the shame and the level of courage it took to keep you on the tracks of what happened afterwards.

Winnings aren't meant to be wagered again... Does that even make any sense? Chill out for a second, get a drink and do your thing. Relax as much as you can with it and feel the essence of getting a reward from your passion.
I feel this is more related to addiction than it is to unawareness; if it gets to a point that you have to wager uncontrollably, that's it.

Of course, your decision was correct, but your friend did not accept your correct decision, which is why your friend later lost all the money he had earned from his gambling bets. Yes, it is not a good idea to bet all your money at once on any bet because if you lose the bet, all your previous profits will be gone in an instant. Your friend wanted to make a lot of profit by betting all at once, which led to excessive greed and a loss, which later led to regret.

The disadvantages of gambling I know of is as follows
1)Greediness: This greediness is what causes people to chaising after loses, and this leeds to addiction
2) False hope: gambling makes you have false hope to believe that you will win the next game even when you are not sure, and this leeds to gambling addiction.
3) Addiction : addiction is the end point of all disadvantages, because all way leeds to this part called addiction. If you are greedy it will leed to addiction, if you chase after win or loses you end up getting addicted. If you develop self confidence to continue or false hope you still end up getting addicted. So all way leeds to the father of disadvantages which is addiction.

There could be more disadvantages , but these are the few I can lay my hands on right now.

Greed is bad specially in gambling, because it makes you continue to gamble and chase big wins. And that is dangerous because we all know that gambling is base on pure luck and so there are days that you can make money and obviously think of it as a good source of income as it is easy way to make money.

But base on our experience, that kind of mindset is not good. And even if you already won, you should know to put the feet on breaks. The disadvantage of gambling with all you have is that you will lose it all and become frustrated. That can make you to look for funds somewhere else to that you can chase your losses. Gambling should be done in the lowest minimal by using only your extra funds that you can let go to gamble. If you want to take gambling as your priority, addiction will be the case and that's the worst disadvantage of them all.
