It's easy to say to other people about saving to invest when we're already able to build our own income-generating assets and have taken some properties that are already earning us money through renting. Doing many different things in the hopes of having multiple streams of income can be a disadvantage because you will be the jack of all trades and master of none. And a master of none makes no one. Of a truth, no matter how much anyone may earn from a single income source it would never be enough to cover his overall needs and responsibilities but having to create other income sources with time will help minimise if not completely eliminate such insufficiency as it were.
