I think it would be fun to meet somewhere for some trading and fun. Attendees could bring a laptop and some garage sale type stuff. Buy and sell things, drink and laugh. Could be a good time. I know how much some of you value your anonymity, but I don't mind saying that I live in Wisconsin. I would be willing to drive as far as Chicago for such an event.
Has this been tried? Is it interesting to anyone else?

Set up a meetup group. There's one for NY and probably others.
