I remember in 2017 when I first got to know BTC, I bought the equivalent of 20 to 25 dollars, when BTC was worth less than 6k.

Sometimes we do mistake in the past but what matters is when we realized our mistake and do the needful things. However, I would advise don't worry yourself about the past because Bitcoin still have a way to go, all you have to do now is to setup a good investment plan for future purposes. so that Incase if any emergency comes out along the line you can be able to settle it without touching your Bitcoin investment.

We have read similar stories over the years, so many people could have bought BTC earlier, but they didn't, that time is gone and can never return. Op your story  isn't  much different form many of us who had the opportunity  to get into bitcoin earlier but refused because of insufficient knowledge. There are times where I regret not buying bitcoin when I had the opportunity earlier, it's  indeed painful to estimate  how much of profit would have been made if you had ignored procrastinating and put in much effort  to understand and believing in bitcoin. The only thing that keeps my going is the hope that bitcoin will definitely  do more ATH in the future even if the percentage increment  wouldn't  be as significant  as it has already done, I believe there is still a tendency for bitcoin to profit the late investors.

We can't really say that we are in the early stages for bitcoin investment because it's already going to 16 years since it was invented and those who invested earlier have made a lot of profits for themselves since they literally bought when the price was very low. However, you can still invest as aggressive as you can because the price of bitcoin is still low now since we are expecting the price to reach $1 million which means buying now will still be like someone who bought when the price was around $10k in the past.

Good to know that you have started accumulating already but make sure not to go above your discretionary income just because you want to make an aggressive buy, if not you might be selling your bitcoin sooner. Also make sure you make preparations for funds for emergency needs and funds to buy with if peradventure the price DIPs more.

Mistakes do happen on which these causes up that missing out that golden opportunity to make yourself rich if you have just that made out such decision to buy.
Same goes for me on which on the moment that i have known Bitcoin and do know about this forum, then i had made out some good amounts of Bitcoin wayback on which even having to

Inference from what you said, among two of your friends one of them discouraged you from investing into Bitcoin and the other one encouraged you to buy some Bitcoin but you ignored the advice of buying some Bitcoin in 2017.

Here comes my question, the friend that adviced you to buy some Bitcoin did you unfriend him? If you were still friends with him and he was an investor of Bitcoin as you claim, I am very sure that he would have still adviced you to buy some Bitcoin in 2021when the price of Bitcoin tasted another all time high or he would have adviced you again to buy in 2022 price plunged to $30k.

You know about Bitcoin in 2017, you had the opportunity to have bought even in 2022 after the price all time high during the 2021 bull run.

Yeah, there were those people in the past that they've thought of going into our crowd now after being so against to Bitcoin and have been attacking it before. You are right dear it does not help to keep thinking about chances we missed. Most important thing to understand is that it is not too late to start.
Idea that Bitcoin is still new and has long way to go is so important. When we think about how more people and big companies and even countries might start using it price it is now could look very different in future. hought that big companies might buy up a lot of Bitcoin before regular people do is strong reason to take action. Idea of Bitcoin reaching prices of a million or even ten million is not just dream. It is possible because there is only  limited amount of Bitcoin and more and more people want it. That is tough OP, I also came across some of those folks back in 2017. We call them the "no coiners" and of course they are full of FUD. They are the bitcoin fud busters and they are still even more so sour seeing as they are now wrong on the subject, although many of them wont own up to it or admit it in public that they were wrong about bitcoin. I'm sure most of these folks who thought that back then are still thinking in the same way apart from the other group who did buy in. Keep accumulating my friend, we do have time on our side and the ability to make more money and hence, more bitcoin!

I also learned about Bitcoin around 2016-2017, and I knew nothing about it at the time. I saw an advertisement for it by chance on some advertising websites and didn't realize its value at first. But then I learned more about it and have loved it ever since.

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough money to invest at the time, and I honestly didn't expect its value to reach this high one day. Had I known, I would have borrowed a large sum of money, purchased a large amount of Bitcoin, and held it to this day.

Not only you, those who didn't invest in Bitcoin in the past are now regretting it. If you think about the price in the past you will only regret it. Bitcoin prices were even lower in 2010-12, so forget about the past and focus on the future. Now those who think Bitcoin will be worthless in the future will regret the present at some point in the future. In the past no one expected the price of Bitcoin to reach $100k, Bitcoin price peaked at $109k. Currently Bitcoin is very popular, will gain more popularity in future and Bitcoin price will increase much more in future.
