Here's a nice website that gives the users the latest economic/political news, a "scoring system" on who's leading the "war", and some short analysis made through A.I.

https://tradewars.strykr.ai/

But the scoring system in site should NOT be an actual guide on who's actually "winning". It's a mere source of information to keep plebs like us updated of the facts.

Plus the topic might also be a good place to discuss the, actually stupid, "Tariff Wars".

Yup same here. I would like to know the basis of this technology. I do not think it is easy to say which side is winning in an economic war. I do not think it is that straight cut. Too many factors that may not even be available to the public that could turn around the situation of things. Not that I want to use this because I would I believe I could make analysis on my own. But I just wanted to see how effective this really is but then I got welcomed by an error. Not a good start.

Either way, the US does not win this, certainly not against China.
The US placed tariffs increase on multiple countries, and a lot of those countries will retaliate and this will mean goods they import from those countries will be more expensive which might lead to an inflation.
Meanwhile, it's only the US that has placed tariffs on China, and they still have a host of other countries that do business with them normally. This is simply an advantage for China.

There's also the fact that China has a lower cost of production compared to the US. The cost of labour in China is also lower than in the US, so the companies won't lose much if tariffs are increased compared to the companies in the US.

yet reality is china closed many factories, workers migrated to places like vietnam, sending chinese cities real estate plummeting down and its retail malls and restaurants with no locals to buy things as they mostly migrated
china certainly is not just able to wait it out unharmed, they are already seeing big losses due to it

To be fair, the US cannot win but China will not be able to gain the upper hand and even if the remaining countries join hands with China, it will be difficult to gain the upper hand against the US. Because the US is the world's largest consumer market, losing it would also disrupt global supply chains and consumption.

No one wins in a trade war and consumers will be the ones who suffer the most. So if the tariff war does not end soon, the consequences will be much more serious than we can imagine. It not only harms American consumers but also negatively affects the entire global supply chain.

The US lost this war decades ago when they outsourced their production to China. China is the monster which the US created by his own hands. They are desperately trying to kill it but I think It is way too late now.

China is inevitable.

Trump is rightfully but desperately trying to reverse the mistakes the US did many years ago.

Let’s we all hope he succeeds because otherwise China will own us all.

All this shit happens because 20-30 years ago the US refused to face the problems they were having and decided to delay it. Now the world has a much bigger problem, China.

With what I have been following on the news, some people said nobody knows what could be the outcome of the trade war if it continues, but I saw a Chinese analyst that said China would win, while an United States analyst said that United States will later be the winner if this continues.

The US lost this war decades ago when they outsourced their production to China. China is the monster which the US created by his own hands. They are desperately trying to kill it but I think It is way too late now.

It is not only US that lost but also many other countries but hope things will change. Most countries import more from China but exporting almost nothing to China.

Probably the tariff war is still loading. Lol
By the way I think is may just be a website for fun and jokes because what is the essence of a Us vs China tariff clash dash board?
This type of issues I actually don't think there would be a winner or a loser, both parties would just keep going on and on till someone steps in or anyone amongst them becomes the bigger person.

This is currently happening to them now that's why they call out diversification and have talks with other countries for possible creating alliance since if they fail on this then their country would provably get hit badly on this huge tariff imposed by US on their country.

Now India is in trade talks with US https://finance.yahoo.com/news/live/trump-tariffs-live-updates-us-and-india-make-progress-on-trade-deal-as-vance-meets-modi-191201943.html

And if US would succeed first to have a deal with other country then say not or reduce their trades in China then this is another bad developments for Chinese government.

China has been fighting for diversification since before the tariff issues. They've been fighting for de-dollarisation since even before Trump became president, so it is not entirely because of the tariffs.

Both China and the US will feel the weight of the tariff, but let's not spread propaganda and exaggerate news.
We saw what happened to the US financial market, so let's not act like the US is bulletproof in this. The market only recovered after the tariffs for most countries.

I tried the link on my phone it showed error. I changed it to desktop mode and it continue to show error.

I also tried it on my computer and it showed error also.

Could be that one programmer dude was just making fun of the whole thing. How's that even reliable when AI is also contributed to the analysis according to Op?
The sites doesn't seem a reliable source which I think it's getting nuked for violation for hosting provisions of unauthorized activities and legal abusive terms of the site provider.
As we may know, such functioning activity being accessible for the public could result to the act of flashpoint to cause public panicking since the effects of the tarrif is a global concern.

I don't personally see the relevance of this dashboard on which country is leading in a trade war that is charactarized by selfishness and greed these two countries to me are only playing politics with the rest of the world if there's anything that I have known is that these so called super economic Powers always brings up something to keep the rest of the world in suspense in a bid to controlling them and this trade war is another perfect one, because closing monitoring the world events the noise about the war in Ukraine is gradually dieing off and we are in another war this time it's not fought with hands to me all these are geared to keep the price of goods and services across the world to be high there by leading to inflation which will benefit these countries.

Both China and the US will feel the weight of the tariff, but let's not spread propaganda and exaggerate news.
We saw what happened to the US financial market, so let's not act like the US is bulletproof in this. The market only recovered after the tariffs for most countries.

yes lets not spread propaganda..

EG exagerations and propaganda
though the stock market changed in the US... this is EMOTIONAL sentiment of the market.. the financial markets are not actually getting hit by businesses real quarterly results. so its all emotions of investors
(and it corrected quick. )

now the facts
however in america more businesses are opening up and expanding, america is seeing domestic opportunity for employment and industry expansion
(the opposite of china's situation)

apple has already moved most of its dependence away from china in the last 6 months. and no its not going to take 3 years and $dozen billion (project fear propaganda) to settle down

as has car companies, .. heck even bitmain now makes bitcoin asics in the US

yet in china businesses are closing not just in manufacturing within mainland china.. but also as a repercussion of worker migration. the retail malls, restaurants and normal city supermarkets are closing in china due to desolate cities laying near empty

It's an interesting concept that's for sure, but I actually wonder whether AI is naturally biased towards a culture or country that has been the source of most of it's harvested knowledge. There must be plenty of Chinese/Mandarin content online, but I wonder if a lot of it is also hidden away and even censored behind the Great Firewall of China - which will impede or skew the reliability of all the news events on the Chinese side. It already seems a bit ill judged, because it is American consumers that will have to pay much higher amounts for even basic goods that they have become reliant on - whereas China has heavily diversified away from relying on primarily on the richer American consumer market. Both countries are going to take an economic knock either way.

All this shit happens because 20-30 years ago the US refused to face the problems they were having and decided to delay it. Now the world has a much bigger problem, China.
The US isn't the entire world. Grin

As you said US ignored the internal problems and just kept focusing on the global dominance by financing the war directly or indirectly now the balance tilted towards the wrong side and China got the upper hand and they will likely to win if US continue this tarrif war because democracy is against dictatorship doesn't stand a chance since even the own people is against their leader in US.

The US lost this war decades ago when they outsourced their production to China. China is the monster which the US created by his own hands. They are desperately trying to kill it but I think It is way too late now.
The US has always been a monster as well, probably even worse. China is a likeable “Monster” at least for now. Unlike the US, they don't go on warmongering, invading different countries while looking for “terrorist” and “weapons of mass destruction”, funding wars that shouldn't concern them in all corners of the globe, building several bases across the world and trying to control economies of different countries through World Bank, IMF, WTO etc.

I believe the rest of the world feels like the narrative should change. It's probably the US and a few other countries who think it should stay the same.

Unfortunately, however, it looks like Trump is biting off more than he could chew. He looks like the bully who immediately scampers away at the first sign of retaliation. He's all bark, no bite.

He started a war he couldn't finish. After imposing 145% tax on Chinese imports, he's now saying it will be reduced substantially, that he won't play hardball against China, that the US will be very good to China, that the two would be living together very happily, that they'd work together ideally, and so on and so forth after China retaliated with 125% tariff.

There's the bully with his tail between his legs.

If the United States succeeds and wins against China, it means we will continue to maintain a unipolar world with the dominance of a single power. This also means that we will continue to be bullied and threatened by them without being able to fight back or resist.

Meanwhile, if China succeeds, we will have a multipolar world with power evenly distributed and no longer concentrated in one country, including China.

Both are bad guys and the best scenario for the world is for them to compete with each other, power should be divided rather than concentrated entirely in the hands of one of them.

The "dashboard" is broken!

Trump is rightfully but desperately trying to reverse the mistakes the US did many years ago.
I disagree. He is not trying to reverse the mistake, he is trying to force the world to accept that mistake and continue making it.

Otherwise the solution to fix the economic issues of US is simpler than this war. Cut the costs and reduce dollar's exchange rate against other currencies. China would be defeated that way.
But the US regime is doing the exact opposite. They are increasing their costs by starting more wars against the world (be it the tariff war or the armed conflicts Trump started in Red Sea, Syria, ...) and simultaneously strengthening the dollar by keeping the interest rates high. These two practically guarantee China wins!

Indeed, let's hope the US succeeds against China. They're both evils, but the US seems to be the lesser one.
Actually China is the lesser evil here but good news is that we don't have to wish for one of these two to win! Their war actually weakens both of them and that's is a good thing for the rest of the world as long as we take advantage of it.
I already shared my mind here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5537130.0 on how this can help everyone strengthen.
