My Gambling Fantasy, What's Your Experience.

Actually, I have never gambled like you guys have gambled here. I have taken gambling only as entertainment. I have not taken gambling as a way to earn money. Also, I use a very limited budget in gambling, that budget is 1 percent to a maximum of 5% of my income. I never spend extra money outside my budget because I know that spending extra money on gambling means gradually becoming addicted to gambling. If I lose a match in gambling, I do not try again to make up for my losses. I am patient and try to win later. There are many who, for some reason, when they lose a match, they immediately participate in the game to make up for their losses, as a result, they lose money again at some point. So, do not make money in gambling, but take it as entertainment. Of course, gambling will be enjoyable.

This seems like a very risky gambling adventure. Is there any rule that says you must go all in with everything you've won and even the capital each day you gamble? I think it would have been less risky if you had gone home with your profits and subsequently gambled with only the principal amount, so you wouldn't miss out on everything. LOL! This is a painful fact, but it is true. my friends said something similar to what you said, "tonight I want to play slots, to buy spare parts (motorcycle)", this is very funny. The money that is already in hand used for gamble, and dreaming will get additional money from gambling, his have a reason, because still not enough money at the moment to buy spare parts he needs. What's worse, the gambling chosen is slots, not other gambling that has a better winning potential with better prediction, like sports betting. Finally, the money runs out and he need to start from the beginning to have money again to buy that spare parts. Well, maybe it's not his turn to win yet. Haha.

Sometimes I am also a little aggressive in gambling but I don't even gamble for more than 1 week and that has been going on for quite a long time now. I don't know where I stand as a gambler but from the beginning gambling was not a place to get money. I consider it the same as when we go on vacation and have to spend money to pay for the rent for 2-3 days. As long as there is a sense of satisfaction enjoying the vacation then it doesn't matter to pay a little more. If everyone makes this the main rule then they can control gambling more.

One of the silliest ideas is to play slots for additional money. I can understand if it is poker or sport betting - some predictable games, where you can use your brains to increase win chance. But choosing slots for income...
The result was predictable. It would be good if he remember such lesson and willn`t repeat it again.

Yes, according to OP, that's their plan. To keep it going until its last day. It's a very risky move because both are inclined to follow the rule without even doubting it. No one could say to stop and rethink their decision because they must keep the plan going for a better profit.

Well, I know we all want that big win but when it comes to having the money in front of you (the profits), there should be a pause to reevaluate what is happening because that's money you've earned both and maybe both could also decide to pull it out and just try to reset to a cheaper start. I am not saying I am against it, but there can be situations, especially if the other one badly needs the money. If not, then it's good to go, although both must endure the frustration when it's gone.

If I have a friend who have this fantasy/dream, I doubt I can stick with him for a long time. Because I like to change the way I gamble, sometime I can be very careful and trying to compound slowly, or sometime I'm looking for huge odds even though I will lose easier/quicker.

But I get it, when we're betting with friends, usually our pride increase and whenever we want to cash out, our friends think that we're weak. So, it make both are encouraged to gamble until we reach really huge.

Not to bore you with a long narration we lost it on the third day and I regretted not making some withdrawal after the second day and continued with some part of the profits, we were greedy I guess but we plan on making another attempt but this time we think of applying some withdrawal at some point and not go all in till the last day we proposed for the game.

So have you had similar  experience? How did you handle  it? Did you  try again? If yes what did you  do differently on your second trial?.

And what would you've done if your plan worked and you won the thousand you calculated? would you quit, or you would continue gambling to multiply it again, forever? A few people succeeded at it because, in the end, it is all about probability and big numbers, and if enough people play, someone ends winning big. But that's not what happens to most of us, so you can't count on a "flawless" strategy like that, because in the end it won't be sustainable.

You already know about martingale, I would say this is just a variation, but still the same basis.

Great to hear that you have earned money from gambling and you have bought something which is essential for you. But I do not think that you will be able to do the same continuously. I think in these 3 weeks you have already fallen into a loss, if not, then no winning ratio like earlier. Any technique we use, the loss will be ours ,whether that is today or tomorrow.
