Thank you! They really do have cases where they don’t restore access to funds. For example, I read on Altcoinstalks that one user had the same situation a few months ago. And the issue was never resolved. To be fair, he didn’t submit the documents Trustee Plus requested because he felt the blocked amount wasn’t large enough to fight for. And so, for several months now, he hasn’t had access to his funds. But after he saw my post, he reached out to their support team again and resumed his efforts to recover the money. I hope he manages to do it.
As for closing the account: I still haven’t done it because they don’t allow you to delete the account if there are any remaining funds. I have 0.01 USDC left there from a past transaction, and I can’t withdraw it or even donate it to charity (yes, that feature does exist on Trustee Plus) because the balance is too small. You need to top up at least 5.5 USDC to be able to withdraw to another address. But I really don’t want to make even one more transaction with them and encourage demand for their services, so I’m now in contact with customer support, trying to get the account deleted despite this detail.
