How do you use the forum?

I have a job that makes me to be too busy and whenever I close from work I feel so tired, and I don't even have the energy to login my forum account. The only time I'm free is on weekends and my family is large, if even you want to do something else you may get distracted.

I want to know how you use the forum. Can you engage in forum discussion when you are in the midst of people that your attention can be called at anytime.  Or you use the forum when you are free alone, like in the midnight when every where is quiet.

Because I know some forum discussion needs critical thinking and if you are distracted it can decline the quality of your discussion.

But do you know, using the forum is not a must 

Forum is just like your other social media platforms where you interact with other intellectuals impacting knowledge on bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. How you use the forum is solely left for you to decide as their is no principle guiding your presence here. No one is checking your online status unless you have personal deals.

If you are easily distracted type of person, you need to find a serene place in that case because learning required a conducive environment on a norms and not crowdy place. By the way, you can use the forum at your convenient time irrespective of the hour you chose to be online.

OP, change your job; what else can I say? Each person always has a choice of what to give preference to. If you can't find time to visit the forum, then we can make a couple of guesses: either you are not interested in the forum and you are lazy, or you need to change your comfort zone and start learning something new and modern that would not take away all your strength and health. I say this with confidence because I know many examples of how this forum changed people's thinking, changed their lives, and changed their specialties. If there is a desire, there will always be time.

You are right this forum is not like strict training camp it is more like another social website where people who are good about crypto talk to each other and share what they know and we know.
It is good to know that there are not much strict rules telling me how I have to be there. It is really my choice how I want to join in and learn. And you are exactly right about needing quiet place if I get distracted easily it is easier to learn when it is calm. Fact is that I can use forum whenever I have time is also big bonus. And I do not waste my time on video scrolling and on other social media websites. That is only waste of time so I prefer to use forum to learn.

@op, learn to enjoy the forum. The truth is that if you don't find this forum exciting, you will still find it stressful and a burden, even if you don't have a job and are doing nothing with your time.

I also have a job outside this forum, but I am always active here reading, even if I am not posting due to where I find myself at that time. Most times, I make use of my break period to do this. This forum broadens my knowledge and there is always something new to learn and people to interact with.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you are here in the first place. If you truly understand your goals here, it should motivate you to be active.

Read when you can and use your free periods or weekends to make constructive posts. Don't make this forum a burden, find a way to make it exciting for you.

Forum is where you interact with people,most especially when you come across an exciting or informative thread atleast as such your contribution will be considered.

Some threads in the forum are rational,to that effect, it need a rational minds and a deep thinking faculty before you can come in with a reply,so that you will not go off-point when replying.
There are discussions that are crucial and as such it need special attention,so you don’t need to be distracted when interacting in the forum because your input or contribution matters most.

I came in to this community I didn't wait for anyone to tell me that the forum is a very free and open environment where users can freely express themselves, if anyone is struggling  with the forum activities it is very wrong because while struggling you can never bring the best out of you, one thing I also believe in is adaptation yeah it takes place gradually, one really need tell himself the truth whenever there is a change in our everyday activities to enable us adapt with time, what am saying in essence is that op can still meet up with the forum activities and that of the his job that's if his is very much interested in the forum activities.

Depending on how you take the forum. Some of us don’t have any other work than to be interacting in this forum, they are always active in the forum. You don’t have anything to do in the forum since you have your work to be doing, you can always come when you need help or when you wants to ask questions in the forum since you are always busy with work and weekends are for your family.

After reading some comments here the OP may decide to leave the forum (last seen is 28th) or develop some thick skin. Some comments are harsh but it is what it is.

We all found our own healthy (or unhealthy) way to use this forum , the OP will find his too.

The thing is everyone you see in the forum here has their own personal life to live as well and it's not as if anyone has a free time for the forum the thing is you only have time for things you prioritize more. No matter what you will always make time for something you are really interested in. If you're a social media type you can't tell me you don't have time for your phone or devices so that's how it is. If you are really interested in the forum then you will have to make time for it one way or another.

If you often or use your free time to be busy with your smartphone, then when I hold a smartphone, the forum is the routine that I open most often.
Likewise, when I have time to be in front of a PC, the forum is the main internet search that I open along with the YouTube platform.

I can make posts with a smartphone if I am not in front of a PC. The quality of the post, whether it is good or not, I leave it to those who judge it when they read it because I make my posts when my mind is good. If I'm not feeling good, I don't know what to write either.
As long as I make posts, I always try to be good. But the problem is the small keyboard so there are complications.

I have a contracted job that has been taking more of my time lately too and it started last last year. For some people they would have abandoned the forum because of how time consuming the job is but my love for the forum has made me that I can't leave. For me I can't write while I'm in the midst of people, I wait to be in my house and in my bed before I can start writing. Some days I'll be writing and I sleep off because of the workload of the day and I was already exhausted before I get home. Better I don't complete post for my campaign than to spam the forum while I'm at work. The forum needs clinical reasoning to be different from others because if we're all just writing the same thing then the forum is off no use. We're supposed to be bringing our contribution based on how we see the discussion and not being forced to sound the same all because we want to get some favours.

the only reason i am currently able to visit it and read messages is because i have no money so i am forced to spend my time on proper research


what helps is that you are always allowed to make mistakes and all the posts you post will stay saved online

Maybe it’s because you’re still new here, which is why you find the design very bad or basic. I felt the same way when I was a newbie on this forum. But honestly the design hasn’t changed at all since I joined.

As for me, the main reason I’m here just being honest is because I was looking for a way to earn some extra money. Bitcointalk gave me hope through opportunities like offering services, joining signature campaigns and participating in contests and tournaments. You can see that most of my post is from games and round like 10-20% of my post is from games and rounds board.

I don't do any job. I am always free and can enter the forum at any time. However, I understand that after working in the office all day, I don't have the mentality to enter the forum and work because when I am sometimes under pressure at home, I have this mentality that I will not enter the forum today because my body feels tired after a lot of work, due to which I don't want to work even if I enter the forum. Moreover, when I am not working, I can work in the forum all day.

I think that to work on a Bitcoin forum, you should be completely free because you need to be free to work on a Bitcoin forum. If you are free, your mindset is much better, and if you are in a good mindset, working on the forum is very fun.
