Yeah , I have read about him some time ago. It's actually scary for me - 20 years in coma without any chance to recover. His brains are dead - such miracles the he would recover doesn't happens. Even if parents with billions in their bank account can return him to life, nobody can't. If would be best for him if his parents would decide to let him go.
You can be deaf or blind, without legs or hands, but being in vegetative state is worst what could possibly happen for human. That's not a life anymore.
People are arguing that since the parents can afford it, hr should be kept on life support for as long as they want. Everyone have the right to use their weath as they want. But that money they are spending on him can save many lives. They can set up a foundation with his name and donate to medical charities instead of keeping him. Maybe seeing him alive gives his parents some comfort; that's their choice anyway.
Saving a special live worth to you when you've the facilities is worth trying if you can make the impossibility possible.
The money spent the sleeping Prince might not really said to be waste because the expenses still focused on restoring their beloved sons life. Creating a charity foundation on his behalf by letting him go will only make his family generous but the memory that their son is no more might be hard for the family to just let go off him by not providing him the life support anymore. Perhaps they've the money for his sustainability even though all hope is lost that he'll come back to life which I don't think the expenses is becomed a difficulty for the parent to provide.
