What is going on? For people to lose more? Why are they not taken down? People that their money were stolen by CBEX has not gotten any refund but CBEX said they will get refund starting on June 25. You can readorea hour it here: https://punchng.com/cbex-resumes-operations-despite-sec-ban-n1-2tn-efcc-probe/If I remember, this is similar to what happened with MMM. Tell people to avoid this scam CBEX. If you do not want to lose your bitcoin or money converted to bitcoin, avoid CBEX. I think a new thread is need for this serious and urgent discussion. If the Nigerian asset regulating agencies did not gain from these ponzi schemes, they would have been blocked access by now. They're part of the game. You are right. Nigeria government is so corrupt that they encourage these fraudsters to scam people as long as they will get their own cut from it, they're in a deal. However, when you as an investor is out for real to help elevate poverty, if they come to you for their own cut and you refuse because you have a good motive and run a clean business, the government will call you a scammer and shut you out of business. When will all these end in Nigeria. This is exactly wetin dey happen for the contri be dis, dem no dey care wetin person dey do so far as dem dey collect their own share, tell me how corruption go stop wit that kind mentality and it all boils down to the common man wey dey fight to survive poverty, regardless of his situation dem go still impose unnecessary taxes for him business, so very bad. The government go dey hide in disguise say dem dey protect her citizens from being scammed when top government officials are the pioneers of those scamming platforms. The tin don bad to the extent wey be say dem dey see all these corrupt practices as normal tin wey e be say if you no comply with them e go come look like say na crime you commit. Look at the police extorting money from motorists across the country which they now feel entitled to extort their hard earned money, it's really saddening and the worst part is that the more we pray for a better Nigeria, the more things are getting worst.

It’s sad how most Nigerians will still go back and put more money in Cbex. Now Cbex might come up with something different, who knows what that will be just to entice them to put more money and then they’ll shut down. I just hope people will be wise enough not to fall into this scam again.

They have the interest of launching on the V-2 of the scam saga and this time around, they are trying to give every possible means that could lead to their complete tracking for apprehension, i know the real guys behind this scam were not caught yet, because those we saw on the media being the faces of the CBEX are only their employed workers, but not the bad guys, they are very smart but this second attempt could be their serious mistake ever. Now are they telling others to come and reinvest again for the second time, or they are just there to promise on the victims that their money will be refunded, i don't want to believe due tot he level of how the entire scam went viral, anyone can still be interested at investing again with them.

Fraudsters get more opportunities to cheat when they get more money. I mean, when people don't understand and start investing more greedily, fraudsters get more courage. Fraudsters are trying to get more money in various ways. They are talking about reinvesting money instead of returning it. They want to explain that the UK government is conducting a financial audit, due to which it is not possible to return the money to anyone now. On June 25, they will be able to withdraw part of the money they invested. They will try to get your identity verified again and try to put you in danger in some other way.
So, it is better not to take this wrong way a second time unless it is approved by the government and you are aware of it.

Don't you think it is embarrassing to the nation if the guys behind the scam have not yet been known to the public? Or they know but they just leave them alone and them receiving bribery? You know how Nigerians like bribery. Now are they telling others to come and reinvest again for the second time, or they are just there to promise on the victims that their money will be refunded, i don't want to believe due tot he level of how the entire scam went viral, anyone can still be interested at investing again with them.
This is how scam like MMM was. People will not do it again and everything will just die down.

Actually, I didn't expect much from a government woth poor ruling mentality. You can imagine the distress this platform caused many average Nigerians last month, and now they are operating again, seemingly allowed by our government. I know Nigerians don't always listen to warnings so I won't say much. People will still invest in that platform. I suppose the lesson is simple don't trust the Nigerian government. they don't care about our feelings. They probably took a bribe from this platform to let them return without any charges or fine to compensate Nigerians.

When will all these end in Nigeria. According to a close brother of Maxwell Odum, the CEO of MBA Capital and Trading Limited, also known as MBA Forex who was labeled a Fraudster by the govt. He told me that Maxwell odum and the Former central Bank Governor Godwin Ifeanyi Emefiele had an agreement to allow MBA Forex operates in Nigeria freely while him(Godwin) will be receiving a certain percentage from the company. At some point,Mr Maxwell odum wanted to expand the company across every states in Nigeria and so, he invited Godwin emefiele at his Abuja hotel for a brief meeting to discuss business as usual.it was at the meeting that Maxwell odum had to disclose his plans to expand MBA and that, he is willingly to increase the lobbying percentage to Godwin emefiele. Godwin emefiele wasn't satisfied with the offer and had to demand for a bigger offer and that if Maxwell odum refuses to comply with it,he's going to shutdown MBA Forex. Maxwell odum refused because the percentage Godwin emefiele is demanding is too high and would affect the company growth financially. Maxwell odum had a good intentions to help our youths and every citizens of our country, to elevate them from poverty through his company but because he refused to satisfy the selfish desire of our leaders, they have to frustrate him, confiscate his company funds in the banks, revoked his operational license, denied he never registered his company under the government just to have an enough reason to tag him a Fraudster running a ponzi scheme. The truth is,if he is a Fraudster, why did they allow him to operate with physical offices for 3 years without arresting him.some Investors whose funds is still trapped in MBA Forex are still frustrated and haven't fully recovered from their lost because they lost everything they had at that time. Our govt simply don't want our youths to come out of poverty, they are greedy and heartless and as of today,MBA forex Dubai is still operating and people in Dubai still are benefiting from it.

Is very bad that this people still starts operating in Nigerian again, most Nigerians will not learn from what happened and learn from there last experience, but I know Nigerians wouldn’t listen because they love a get rich quick scheme in this country and I don’t even know what our Government is doing about all this situation, in a western and more civilized country you wouldn’t find CBEX operating anymore after what have happened by causing a scare in peoples life and now I will say this people shouldn’t be allowed to operate in this country anymore. But our government is mostly interested in what they can get from this CBEX people, and wouldn’t care what happens to its citizens. A country that isn’t interested in the warfare of the peoples.

Well I pity does who will not learn from incident.
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission has already issued an important advisory to Nigerians regarding the risks associated with engaging with platforms that promises unrealistic returns on investment. This warning specifically highlights the potential dangers of ponzi schemes. Any Nigerian who decides to invest in Cbex again should be aware that they do so at their own risk. The government through the Efcc has taken affirmative actions, including the identification of the man behind Cbex(Elie Bitar). It is already evident that the government has made significant effort to safeguard the interest of Nigerians on this matter. We should stop blaming our government all the time. We all know Nigerians always want to learn in the hard way.
