So, a guy named James Howells has been trying to get his hands on a hard drive with 8,000 bitcoins that he accidentally lost in 2013. 😱 He believes it's buried in a landfill in Newport, and he's been on this wild mission to recover it ever since.

The best part? A Hollywood production company is now making a documentary about his entire story! It’s titled “The Buried Bitcoin: The Real-Life Treasure Hunt of James Howells.”
I believe his efforts was easy to turn into a movie plot 

I mean, the guy’s literally been to court, tried AI for his case, and even considered buying the whole landfill when it’s set to close in a few years. Can you imagine the scale of this? The bitcoin stash is worth over £570m! 💸

What do you guys think—would you try to dig up a landfill for a fortune like that, or is it just too crazy of a gamble? 🤔

The guy didn't care about the environment, he didn't care about the cost (he fooled some lawyers).    He must have known the bitcoins were irretrievable, so all else considered - he bet on the media as his best return.   If he were to find it, immediate costs (legal/contractors,etc) might lead to a flood price drop.

I'll consider background watching it when its streamed for free.

Smart move. Indeed if they stared a movie, he already won, they making a movie about it lol.
However, I still wonder, why he would bury in landfill.. like how it would end there ..
