Bitcoin price speculation for the month of May

Its not just price but time which is a correction so this much happening in May is not certain especially.  I reckon we get alot of drift this year, till a strong trend is proven thats the default scenario.   Add in some bad news, normal sell off type price action to reset BTC and its easy to see how we can go in circles till autumn and be very similar pricing further down the road.

Like you said the market is less volatile now  but we might see an upward shift in the next few days as Michael Saylor has made it known that MSTR will be aiming for 600k Bitcoin in their custody soon. This will trigger the price and those who are quick to take profits from their trade will self at a comfortable price.

That is basically just how a bow and arrow works. You pull it back a bit, and then let it go, and I am sure bitcoin will do the same. The fall here, would be to just close the gaps below and it would also have some sort of advantage to get rid of the weak hands. That way, when we are going higher that would be a lot better and we could make more money. That is not going to be easy at all and we could be seeing some increases for the long term as well.

We can't really get any further up the price range, and for that reason we are going to make a ton of money with increases but you need to be accumulating and not sell that easy, if you end up selling then you are going to make less money. So do not be afraid and keep on holding and accumulating during this period.

I am with others who says bullish although the price now is down at $94k. It was down from $96k to $94k and I hope that will not down deeper. We may see $100k this month because we are close to that price so we should be positive with the market.

But anything can happen this month so we only have two options, whether it will increase above $100,000 or it will decrease back below $90,000. If everything is going to be positive, we will see $100,000 shortly.

Always speculative and may trigger price movements after Michael Saylor made the decision but no one can guarantee because previously Bitcoin had shown a recovery point that almost touched $ 98,000 on its journey. Now we can see the point of movement will survive at what price and if able to penetrate the price of $ 100,000 maybe we will return to see the next ATH for the next few months.

The price we predict may not always be accurate but I am quite sure when Bitcoin touches the price of $ 100,000, there will be a point of increase that can exceed prices in the previous ATH. This is only about waiting for the right moment even though we never know what month will happen because there is a need for strong support for the process.

I voted between $90,000 and $100,000, and I'm quite surprised that the majority of people are quite optimistic about it, voting over $100,000. The last few days of April and the start of May have noticed a major uptrend compared to a few weeks ago, when Bitcoin had crashed down to $80,000 levels. From my perspective, unless something positive occurs that affects Bitcoin's price that can send it over $100,000, I believe that its price is going to stabilize, with perhaps a few minor crashes going below $90,000 that will resolve within a few days.

I am seeing some articles (positive news) from Blackrock and regarding the Bitcoin reserve, thus, the current situation can easily take a turn for the better.

Bitcoin price may be both pumping and dumping, it is uncertain, but the current Bitcoin price has touched $94.5K. Notice that this week Bitcoin price has often touched $97K and is moving slightly lower. However, I believe it will dump a little more and touch a minimum of $90K and again touch $100,000 by the end of May.
Since Bitcoin price rose from $80K to $97K, Bitcoin price has been increasing continuously, so a slight correction is normal at the moment. But very soon we will see Bitcoin price in six-digit prices, for that we just have to wait for this month of May.

This seems to be happening right now as bitcoin draws back to $94k. I am not worried, I do believe it is just a correction. I am thinking of toughing it out and let bitcoin run its course. I did have my hesitation when people were expecting the big 100 this week. After this correction, we might see bitcoin reach $100k eventually this month. I have huge trust that it will happen this month though as you said this might happen by the end of the month. I would only be worried if bitcoin corrects back to below $90k but hopefully it doesn't happen if we want to see bitcoin reach $100k in may.

Bitcoin might not get to $100k this year, but I believe it won't perform badly at all. It probably would be around 94k to 98k because a lot of investors are still observing. Some are waiting to see if it will dip, while some are waiting to see if it will break to 100k; whatever they decide will be based on the movement of the price.

Month of April was good as we expected but how about the month of May. I know we are still going to ATH but bitcoin is less volatile recently but in a progressive direction as it is going closer to $100000.

Well, I do always have this kind of hunch and it did happen on previous years too.

Lets just put up some histories about it.

In 2021, BTC lost 35%, marking one of the worst months of the year.
In 2022, the decline was 15%, due to the collapse of the Luna ecosystem.
In 2023, the month was flat or slightly positive, with contained volatility.

There have been exceptions: in May 2019, Bitcoin rose by 52%, one of the best post-2018 performances.

Last year on 2024 we do made out some increase too. It seems that proverb on Sell in may doesnt work on crypto?

Like i said every massive buy from an agency will surely trigger the market to move upward. MSTR isnt a small agency, we know how much they can invest if they want to, for Saylor to speak on buying $600k of Bitcoin means only one thing. Which is the price going back to $100k soon. It will take only a week for this to be achieved.  

I watch the bitcoin price movement almost every day because I am involved in short term trading and I never said a big buy from an agency will not trigger the market. I think you need to re-read the previous post and what we are talking about is a massive sell-off if done by him so the market will definitely be under pressure in the short term although it will eventually recover.

No one doubted that bitcoin would return to $100k and now it has reached that number and even more. It just took some time and it may not be long since I published this post because the upward momentum is there although we will see another correction later.

May has been a very positive month for Bitcoin investors and hodlers as it comes with the sentiments of the corrections to have been behind us with many believing the greens we see in the charts is ushering us into the waited bullrun.

Well, with us still being very early in this month, we’ve got several days ahead of us for several events to take place. At most what we would get is price rallying to break the previous ATH but, not fully materializing into a bullrun just yet.

You were actually wrong and this time bitcoin is already trading above $100K which is a very big sign of the bulls taking over the market fully now. Just when you made your prediction of the market, not much people were expecting the market to go above $100K just like you also predicted, many thought the market will continue to consolidate in that region for a while before it falls back again, not being able to break the resistance level there.

Now that Bitcoin has broken the resistance level, it’ll create a new level making the previous resistance level its support level and so far we haven’t seen it gone below $100K again. I am not really seeing it going down $100K from this point, but the market can be very unpredictable most times. If this level is maintained till next week, I see it going to $110K or more.

I see a flag formation I think they call this.  Fast rise up, sideways some and then presumably a bullish resolution for more gains and everyones happy.

I usually expect BTC even if bullish to pullback to the last support and do a test on everyones nerves, its just a little more edgy then most other assets.   If we did what I expect then 98k is the target downside and in a bullish way we find support in that area.

Only after we test prior support will I believe the possibility of much better gains then this, after all for some people they are just getting back to zero returns or losses after buying in January then losing ground since then.
   Old buyers and volume will always matter in BTC  as its memory in the price that will not forget or forgive easy!

Crazy bet, must've been such an adrenaline when price reached 105k few moments ago.
But looking at the market, the current price action still looks pretty solid. It may turn out a mistake in the future.
