$100k this week?

I do not see any possibility of it getting to $100,000 in this week because the market is not showing any signs of such movement happening and regardless of it happening, I do not think the market has the volume to support the price.

Maybe you have missed looking at Bitcoin's price now. The highest price that we've seen for today is $99,829. So, that means that we're just a few hundred away to see Bitcoin $100k. And there is a likelihood that before this week ends, we might see Bitcoin reach back to $100k. So, that possibility that you don't see is probably you haven't seen the price movement as of today. We've got some quick moves happening in the market now and I have no idea yet of what actually is happening but OP seems to be right on this call.

Thank you for your observation because I just saw it now after posting, and was about correcting my stand but still I will not be in a hurry because I have seen times when the market almost crossed a particular price but it later started falling after it was not capable of passing that price. I hope that is not what is happening because I am beginning to see some red candle in the market after looking at the chart with the 4hrs timeframe. This has to be sellers taking profits with the fear that the market might retrace back when the resistance is not being broken. Regardless of what happens, if $100,000 happens this week or not that is not my focus because what matters more is the price by the end of the year to give me good return on my purchase.

And here it comes, the price of bitcoin have just hit $100k again for the umpteenth time today after a very long time of struggling to reach the record breaking ATH of December 5th, 2024, the day that the price of bitcoin first hit $100k. It is another feeling of excitement today even though the price has hit $100k severally but it feels so good when after some months of being in the 5 digits level, it now came back again to the 6 digit level once more and this is to show that we are very close to a new ATH.

Not quite right as it missed by a bit. But if the week count is based on the date OP created the topic, then yes it's right on target. The problem is that Bitcoin has just reached $100,000 and progress to above $100,000 is ongoing.
If it can survive, then this May will return to the ATH price. We must know that Bitcoin is volatile. Suddenly when it was going up, it went back down.

You don't have to hurry and think that it should fall because many have been telling it to happen. Because just now, it did crossed $100k again.
We don't need to wait for a week or two anymore because it did happened again. Well, that's an interesting thought for the year end because we all sure looking forward to that day as well.

Coming here again to say that this prediction was correct as the price is now $101K meaning it was achieved.

While it's good to see the price going up means there is hope again for $150K in the next few months, who knows if it will go further for bitcoin as I see so many pundits predicting above $200K.

To be fair, while it is short just a hundred dollars, I am sure it is nothing. We need to realize, it is not about 100k, over it, under it, that doesn't matter. What matters is we need to see it change for the long term and that is the most important part. If we can do that then we are not going to have any trouble at all due to price not being that important at small difference.

What really matters is the ATH price, that is a bit more psychological and because of that we are sure that we are going to break over it and be a lot better. I believe if we break over it, then we could do a lot more profit later on, like reaching 110k means, reaching 120k is easier, and even 130k, so we need to not focus on 100k and give it too much importance, but give it more time and reach over ATH price.

Most investors were happy to see $100k today, it was as if it is the first time we are hitting $100k because i saw the excitement all over the internet again. Hitting $100k and even up to $101k today is just a reminder that the price of bitcoin can reach any price at a time we least expected and moreover, the market is very bullish which means that we should be expecting the price to approach and break the previous ATH any moment from now because the speed the price moved with today was so amazing so if the market experience such movement again then we are close to a new ATH after which we can be anticipating the price to reach $150k or $200k before the end of the year.

Quarter 2 or Q2 April 2025 is quite positive in terms of Bitcoin's percentage return, but last year in April, Q2 was negative or red but in the same year and in May too, Bitcoin's return in Q3 was very positive so it can be used as a reason that I can accept that this May will have a positive result.
But for this week with 3 days left still makes me believe that $100,000 is a price I can expect to see. That is, I am ready.

Glad to see bitcoin reaching $100K once again after a lot of tussle in the past about whether it’s going to recover back or not while many people are still seeing bitcoin going to a bearish cycle so soon without having a new all time high. Bitcoin has even touched $104k ballpark but as at the time of me making this post it is $103k indeed Bitcoin is really unpredictable. Although many of us though it will take the end of this month to achieve this price but was so quick to atain such hight in a short period of time. From the way I am seeing ATH may be achieved this week. Who knows if may eveen take place withing 24hours. If iit took Bitcoin less than 24 hours to achieve this height it then mean that in less than 24hours again ATH may be expected

Of course, it is hard to make a definite prediction for the price of bitcoin, but when the fundamentals and market sentiment are positive enough, then you can be very optimistic to say that the price will go up significantly. I have seen the price break $104k today, it is down a bit as I write this, but that is normal. A new ATH could be printed this week, but we never know how strong bitcoin can stay above $103k.

However, I would still say that a new ATH will be hit during this month regardless of how fast or slow it is. May should be a good time to expect a new ATH for bitcoin, but on the other hand there is some data that suggests that May is not always green for bitcoin. I am optimistic, and so are you, as it seems.

I think we all know that it's a unpredictable asset, and that's what we love about Bitcoin though as traders or speculators can make a lot of money although there is risk involved as others compare it to gambling. But in any case for us who chooses to just HODL, then it's this time that we are happy to see the price going up to 6 digits again and as if all the hard work has paid off by just accumulating in months or years and never sold anything as we look at the long term. But still though, we need to wait for at least at the end of the month to truly maximized our profits here.

The current market movement is very good, we did not expect bitcoin to rise to $103K so soon, Bitcoin always shows such unexpected pumping, according to the current movement of Bitcoin, there is a very good chance that Bitcoin will break its previous ATH this month. Well that is true, despite the fast growth of Bitcoin this period we can not assume that ATH will be achieved this week, morover the week has nearly ended. It will be more realistic to think of ATH by this month end or next. In one of my comment earlier in this speculation board i speculated that ATH will be achieved this week or around 11 of may but with the look of things, I am optimistic that it may not be possible this week but looking towards the end of the month will be more realistic.
