It's better that you don't become a social media influencer and live a low key life. Don't tell people much about your bitcoin and don't showcase a  flamboyant lifestyle. As for those that can't hide their identity because they're known based on their service, they should be careful with people they relate with and what they say.

The issue of physical safety for BTC or cryptocurrency hodlers  has been debated many times on the forum, and following several kidnappings of crypto influencers' relatives in France (but these kidnappings obviously also occur in other countries), how can btc influencers ensure their safety and that of their loved ones?

How can they both have visibility AND ensure their safety?
Bitcoin influencers? Does such a term exist? Or you wanted to say crypto influencers scammers? Any rich person can have cryptocurrencies, so any of them are in potential danger of attack, even poor people are in potential risk of attack. When someone is rich and their wealth is generated by being a crypto influencer, they should hire a bodyguard or increase the security of their home or do something about it. When you collect a certain portion of wealth, life changes and you should take certain measurements in your life.

By not revealing their own identity and try to as private as possible.

Let's get the definition of influencer.

someone who affects or changes the way that other people behave:

There are many influencers in this forum and they never reveal their identity, although theymos likely have their IP address. Still, I don't know who're them, their face and so on.

o_e_l_e_o is one example of Bitcoin influencer, he taught me many thing about decentralization and non custodial, he influence me to use non custodial wallet in order to support decentralization.
These influencers are paid handsomely by Theymos for staying active in the forum and bringing more important persons into the forum, too. Although Theymos would not want to make it open to the forum, who these members are. o_e_l_e_o might be one of them, another member I think, is an influencer in the forum, is JayJuanGee. His knowledge of Bitcoin is beyond comprehension. There could be more of them, but whatever, only Theymos knows, as you rightly said.

Kidnappers don’t work without information. For one to be a victim of kidnappers, it is very possible they might have gotten information about one’s possession in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a valuable asset, and some people believe whoever has Bitcoin is rich or financially well-off. It is better to be private about one’s Bitcoin investment and achievements.

Privacy matters a lot because what people don’t know, they can’t tamper with. Bitcoin investors should learn how to be private with their investments. Privacy in Bitcoin is not just about keeping the seed phrase private but also about keeping the investment private too.

Who are "these influencers"?

If you refer to both o_e_l_e_o and JayJuanGee, you're wrong. theymos never paid them (CMIIW), leo get paid from avatar and signature campaign he joined, while JJG not join any campaign e.g. he didn't get paid to stay active in this forum.

theymos do pay, but for moderators and their job are mainly to clean the forum, not necessary to active making post, even though some of the moderators are active posting and talk about Bitcoin.

For some of such incidents that has happened in my country, the influencer was attacked because they shared so much information about what they possessed and also kind of brings up clues to best spots they love to go and enjoy them self and that if anyone wants to visit such place, they must set up what they have also set up. As an influencer, you don't have to leave so much clues about your asset or your location or most visited places. Just teach and educate your audience and since it's public, you can actually teach educate people without sharing your secret details.

how can btc influencers ensure their safety and that of their loved ones?

How can they both have visibility AND ensure their safety?

The only way these influencers and their relatives secure their safety is to maintain a lowkey status. When you are in an industry where you become popular to the public, you already expose yourself from people with bad motives. It's the price you pay for your popularity and to protect your loved ones, you don't reveal to the public that you are related to them. They should also avoid going to crowded public places or use a disguise when going out.

As a person, influencer or not, you should never reveal your financial status in the public.

I'm not a crypto influencer, but that's their risk when they become crypto influencers, they can be targeted by criminals who know that they have crypto assets, especially when they have quite a lot of assets. That will be more risky for them. But what they can do to avoid criminal acts is to avoid vulnerable places, such as quiet places, avoid meeting random people, share sensitive information on their social media, or hire a bodyguard if they can afford it. They should be smarter in maintaining the safety of themselves and their loved ones, because if they underestimate it, what happens is they can become targets for criminals.

Those risks you say can be managed properly, Bitcoin influencers can still influence Bitcoin and not say anything regarding their investment, when bragging or much talk on personal holdings keep being discussed, used as a preference so others can pick interest, that makes the influencer a target as the attackers will know a lot before attacking. The same way our celebrities stay out of trouble, same pattern can be followed by rarely discussing where you want to be, secondly also avoid releasing information about current location till you are out of there, just some minor tricks to stay out of trouble.

If I see someone who talk about Bitcoin and he really knows well, even he didn't mention or trying to be low profile, I will consider him to have a lot Bitcoin. Anyone could claim himself don't really understand or don't have a lot Bitcoin, but knowledge don't lie.

Even they didn't show post or share their location to anyone, there's always paparazzi who will taking their photo and let people/their friends know if they meet popular person.

....
Stay humble in your life style and keep your wealth secretly.
Don't make noise and let everyone around you and online knowing that you have bitcoins and more dangerous knowing that you got rich by bitcoin.
Keeping your source of income secret is the most essential behavior to exhibit because every business has their secret that make them ahead of other companies. When you are secret about it, people tends to remove their evil eyes on you rather you look like just an ordinary guy who struggles for survival, you only know how much quantity of Bitcoin accumulated in your wallet and no much noise about it.

It's also a bonus point if you are the type that has less friends and you don't go about arguing with them amount you have in your wallet, doing that is setting yourself a fire that'll burn on you sooner or later.

It is more easier to stay humble and keep your rich and bitcoin investment in secret at individual leve than at business level. If you are an individual investor, you can do your investment secretly and if you are aware about importance of privacy like "Privacy matters", you will not publicly tell anyone about your investment and show off your rich.

You will also not be ready for participating in public events that attract many Bitcoin investors, cryptocurrency enthusiasts and surely there are bad people there too. Your privacy lost forever after you lost it and you can not restore your privacy after it was lost.

Its a great tool but sadly most of us don't use it the way its meant to be. Most services don't allow us to use it the way its meant to be.

Wish more 'influencers' talk about this.
Such influencers would be hated by government and centralized institutions. Instead of trying to be safe, if someone did that, they open a can of worms, even they use pseudonym or didn't reveal their identity.

If the influencers gone viral, I'm sure they will be targeted by the centralized institutions.

Another thing, influencers make money not only by ads and views, they make money from endorsement, 99.9% of endorsement came from centralized institutions.

Government doesn't care. CIs don't care. I bet you not one single government or CI went to arrest or shutdown the old teachers of Bitcoin like Andreas Ant. He is so famous he still does lectures and talks and always educates people about proper use for privacy.

Like you said if you so fear it, use pseudonym.

Anyway back on point, people talk about anonymity (wrong absolutely) and privacy (usually wrong) as they don't use BTC properly. Influencers number one criminal in this.

There are some of them who make content about crypto or bitcoin every day but they rarely mention the amount of assets they have, these are influencers who understand security and they are only trying to make educational content not just to show off. The level of crime that occurs is almost impossible to predict and no one can avoid it, so it's better to be anonymous and not share the amount of bitcoin we have with anyone.

Most influencers who say the amount of bitcoin they have don't necessarily have it because sometimes they are just trying to use the context as a way to make money. But apart from all that, it is better to be more careful and not reveal the amount of bitcoin we own to anyone.

Usually the Crypto influencers are popular online and many few people know about them where they live and all other details about them. So the first think those influencers do is never disclose their personal things. Secondly i have seen many popular influencers doing public meetings or meetup with their fans, which should be avoided or if absolutely necessary, the venue should be a safe place like a 5-star hotel meeting room etc.

Lastly, one common mistake that most influencers make is that they show their portfolio online and thus, if anyone has a big portfolio, some evil-minded people may have bad plans against them. Though after abiding by all these precautions still there is risk which cannot be avoided at any cost  Sad

You cant have the two at the same and expect everything to be alright, but before i dig in further into the reason why the two should not be considered, i will like to ask if there is any benefits we stand to get in allowing the public know what we do and up to in cryptocurrency, is this not the reason why privacy is good, because this privacy we see is what leads to security, being visible to the world will cause us nothing than the risk of being set a trap by the government or any other individual as well as any set of people for anything as against us, as we have in the case of the kidnappers, there are cryptopreneurs in which nobody ever know they exist, tell me how such could be set for an attack.

But unfortunately they disclose their gains that's why there are people would provably think that they have lots of BTC and think about something imaginable to them.

If they are really earning good figures for becoming an influencer I guess they better hire a security aides since with that provably they can assure their safety at home or from anywhere they go.

This is the risk if you are openly showing you gained wealth online since there are criminals might follow you and plan something about you don't like to happen. That's why better think about safety first than be sorry later on since these criminals provably will attack especially if they see that there's something to get in their possession.

Remaining anonymous is a step that can be considered as a form of self-defense and minimizing things that are not expected as has happened to several people who have experienced bad things because of their crypto.

The problem is that sometimes it is very difficult for those who seem to show themselves as a form of necessity where even though they always say anonymity, it is not uncommon that there are many people who even always show off about their achievements both in person and online on social media.
Nowadays, prestige has always been one of the things that cannot be separated and some behaviors that are NPD have always been an obligation of some people who actually endanger themselves.
We cannot guess what will happen in the future and if we really want to minimize this for me one of the best ways to do this is to remain anonymous just like Satoshi taught until now that we can take.

The best you can do is hope for the best and improve your security IRL.
And for someone planning on venturing stay under the radar become an influencer whose information or pictures doesn't have to be showcased.
There's a price to pay for any success we attain. Influencers can't dodge publicity, howbeit small that it's. How does one influence without a face? Even if one decides to do it that way, that means one will have to avoid any form of gathering where cryptos will be discussed. There won't be zoom meeting of any kind too. That way, one will be shooting oneself in the foot when opportunities where crypto influencers will benefit from come since there's no form of identification then. I think that exposure to publicity, together with the inherent risk of attacks that's propelled by the misconception of how rich influencers should be is the cross every crypto influencer has to bear.
