I've been experimenting with AI image generators like DALL-E 2, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion, and I'm blown away by what they can create. It got me thinking about the potential for AI-generated art in the crypto space.

As can be seen in recent times, art quality has gone down significantly over the centuries. What we call artists today is often a bad joke. AI art is just hype, which will lead to soulless huge quantity of art. This is a degradation of the situation, as we should always prefer quality over quantity. Besides, humans are limited in how much they can consume.

Absolutely not. It is just a low effort scam, nothing more.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of NFT's but I have other Ai coins that I hold in the short-term that I think have the potential to give me profit.
But in NFT's generated in Ai, I'm not that familiar with that.

Then it doesn't interest me to pay attention to it and learn about it. It's like it's hard to sell an NFT art that we can't touch and the price is expensive, you know what I mean.  It seems like
it's better to just buy it from an art museum that I can actually see and touch and have the signature of the artist who made it, this is what I'm used to knowing.

I'm pretty sure many people have done this since long ago when NFT was hype, people are generating NFT from AI and doing a minting phase.
The problem is when so many people do that, it become generic and it will be valued really low sometime don't have value at all.

AI generated NFT can also be implicated with copyright because it's still unclear.

Therefore I don't think it will be a success.

Yes but it will create only another hype. If the real arts that have been made into NFTs didn't even took long, so these are too.

Maybe incentives of airdrops from the developers, other than that I don't see other greater value.

Studio Ghibli has few legal options to stop OpenAI from ripping off its style

I totally get you. You feel like NFTs in general aren't the best thing, but you're confident in other AI-related cryptocurrencies and are thinking of investing in them in the short term. As for AI-generated NFTs, you don't think they're worth the effort and time to learn about, because you're not convinced by the idea of paying a lot of money for something intangible. You're used to buying artwork from museums, things you can see and touch, and that have the artist's signature.

That's a very logical opinion, and everyone has their own way of investing and the things they're comfortable with. Since you see that there are other opportunities in the crypto world that suit you better, it's best to focus on them

And what exactly is the upside with this? Using some generic AI that anyone can do by pressing a button? Where's the value? Only value i see is for your feeling like you accomplished something, which you didn't because you used an AI for that.

Also, markets have been saturated from AI generated NFTs since AI graphics become a thing. So good luck against those markets.

Why would something which anyone can create automatically by using the same AI tool would have any price on the market? Being reasonable, the only thing with real value in AI industry is the AI itself, while the products generated by it don't price anything due to the reason mentioned earlier.

If you want to make profit with AI, become an AI developer or join any of the already existing companies and groups of developers. If you try to make profit as customer of such services, I guess you aren't going to be successful, unless you already own a company which provides another categories of services, so you can integrate AI generated content to your company in order to make it more interesting and valuable inside the niche of the market where you are inserted.

About speculative assets like NFTs, forget about it. Investors have already lost big money investing on them, including celebrities who joined the hype and must have regretted a lot later.
