From the online paper I first read this from, I learned that he has already given away $100bn to health and other development projects. The man is a philanthropist and even as he has decided to gave away 99% of his wealth to charity, he would still not lack anything and I doubt if his decision is going to affect his linage in any way because as long as his investment and company still continues to run, it will continue to make his family more money even when his has gone to rest. He has just three kids who are doing well and maybe even if his son takes over the affairs of the company, he would need to put some efforts to grow far what his dad has already built.

We dont actually know on what are the things that been inside of a certains brain and on what hes been that thinking but there are pretty sure that are that odd and unbelievable.

But you don’t get to carry all your wealth with you when you die, so just give it away and make some good in the world even when you have left it. Bill Gate is wealthy and no matter the amount of wealth he gives out to charity foundation, i would not affect his source of income. as he said in one of his statement that it has been his desire and goal to help the needy. here is his

so with this statement it is obvious that they have a strong desire to help the less privilege's both in education, food, shelter and healthcare. even if they spend this amount on those people it will not in any way affect their wealth because they have numerous source of income, which generate a lot of profit every 24hrs.

It is true that Bill Gates is an influential person. And I am very happy with him and he has inspired many people. I agree with your opinion. He became famous for his personality and saw things from a different perspective. Of course, in the long term, with this plan, it is hoped that he can advance the world in a better direction. Yes and there is every possibility for such happened considering how wealthy they are or could be, people like Elon Musk, and Bill gate could do that because they makes millions dollars within 24hrs and if they keeps spending that wouldn't affect their overall savings or investments reason because they already has investment where they are already reaping it folds, so they aren't much cared if they spent that on their foundation. What they believe is the life they would have to impacts before finally leaving the face of the earth.

I would consider they would only give it away at the end of their life if they want to. And there is a HUGE difference between Bill Gates and Elon Musk. Bill Gates has been rich since he was nearly a teenager basically, very young, and grew up being one for the richest people in the world and that means he had time to sink that in.

Elon Musk has been working to get here, remember, he had just some millions after paypal thing, and was putting all of that into other companies, only after Tesla took off that he became really rich, and we have seen what that made him do, so he is a bit of a weirdo, I mean he is on scale for sure. That is why, Bill may give it away, he already probably guaranteed all his children's future, but Elon may not, he is not the kind of guy who would like to help anyone.

But this is not news. At least, I read about it a few years ago. He's been talking about this for a long time. He intended to leave the children enough money so that they could start their own business, or live without financial problems. He really planned to spend the rest of his wealth on charity. Why or why he is going to do this, only he knows. He can broadcast any reasons for his planned charity to the world. Well, the other question is that saying it is one thing, but doing it is another. That's when it really happens (if it happens), then the goals and reasons for such charity will probably become clear.

Of course, this is "a sweet lie to the ears of naive listeners". No one will ever just give away wealth that is so hard to get. Partly, in the case of Gates, this is a PR campaign (or so it seems to me), and partly, a way to reduce tax expenses from your wealth (charitable foundations are exempt from tax, i.e. this is an easy way to give money to "the right people" without tax deductions). All these stories with charitable foundations look to me like a life hack for the rich to reduce their expenses.

This is worded perfectly. The Gates Foundation has always had an agenda, the money is likely to only go toward proponents of that agenda. In the meantime, the naive public lap it up and see it as a charitable foundation after a life of honest enterprise.

How do you understand "give away fortune" ? I understand like this: he does not give away his fortune, but instead he invest them. If you think that in his testament it is written, that he will distribute all money in cash and to bank account to as many people as possible, that is completely wrong. By giving away money, he invest in development, grants, studies, build facilities, projects and etc. All his money he spend on various things that will be useful and help people in future. By definition, that is far away from simply giving away money.

You say that you think about why a person give away all his money, which he as earned through his life. But what else he should do with them? Spend them? I think he already everything he needs. He does not need 100 cars, 100 jet planes, 100 yachts, 100 house, billion items of clothes and electronics. He cant take all his money afterlife. This is how some of these billionaires acquired their wealth. They didn't work so hard for it, they simply took advantage of the lapses in the stock exchange market which made their company's shares to skyrocket.

His intentions and actions are extraordinary. Many of these billionaires usually give their wealth to their children because they want to build transgenerational wealth. His decision to give out his wealth is commendable. I don't know about him being the antichrist, I think he just want to help humanity the best way he can.

Cant fathom out myself on having that $33M per day or even with having that $20k per minute or lets say that $385 per second. lol. If we do speak about giving away those funds then thats a good gesture but since this man had been that having tons of charitable works or foundations then this do proves out that this isnt someone that do have that love for money or simply being selfish and greedy. Well, majority of us will be thinking that we should be keeping up that wealth for ourselves but with having that soo much money then how you would be that be able to make use of it entirely? Maybe all the wealth here does not mean all the actual wealth. Because I think this man's wealth will continue to increase over time. because his company will continue to run and all his investments will continue to provide income to him. But I like his good intentions in donating his wealth. And that is a step that should be appreciated.

We may not understand the thoughts of people who have achieved wealth at that stage. Because we haven't felt it yet. But even though I am in a fairly simple condition, I still like to donate a little of my income to those in need. But yeah, I still can't be at the level of donating all my wealth.
