For example, I have a friend from Chile who is not a regular gambler at all, he was invited by some friends to a casino, the biggest one in his city and he accepted to go there and gamble a bit for fun. He decided to play blackjack against the house and he ended up winning about fifty dollars before taking his chips and exit the casino with his friends, in the end, he never went back to the casino and pocketed fifty dollars.

Gambling is free to be done by anyone and any amount of money is used as a bet because everyone is free to do whatever they want, it would be very funny when a player criticizes another player just because they gamble with a small bet because as if gambling is done must be with a lot of money.

Gambling is addictive and there is no way you can run away from it forever especially those that have already addicted been addicted to it. It depends on the person who won, let it be a relatively large jackpot. If I had won such a jackpot, I would have stopped playing and would not have returned. I would like to return the question, does those who paid for a party does not enjoy it?  Are those who pays the ticket to watch a movie regrets because they paid for it?  Things in this world is not free.  We have to spend something in order to experience or gain them.  Just like how people are paying for travels when they wanted to have some vacation in some area or outside the country.  So are you saying that these people who are spending their money are absurd since they lost money anyway?  Is it absurd to pay for our meals?

It is not a mystery but the interest of the person involved.  If they take fun in gambling then that is the reason why it is ok for them to lose money when engaging in gambling.  This is the same for people who are so eager to pay for plane tickets, accommodation, and food service when they want to have a vacation in another place or country.

That is why you need to manage your time and money in gambling. You must know when stop gambling so you can still have money. But many gamblers may not realize and keep gambling although they lost so much before.

I also think that every gambler should ask themselves the question, why continue playing when you know that on the long run you will lose more than your wins. It can be a mystery as you said why we know this fact and continues to gamble, I think that most gamblers likes to take risks with their money, you get a thrill trying to beat the casinos and get a reward for it but the irony is that it doesn't happen everytime. I initially thought that I could get rich through gambling but when I understood that it takes exceptional luck to achieve that goal I had to change my strategy to gambling for fun with amount that I can afford to loose.

It seems to me that something else is meant here. When a person pays for something (spends money), he expects to receive something specific. A person wants to get excited from gambling, the expectation of winning, because this is the essence of gambling. But if a person starts playing with an initially negative mood ("I'm going to lose anyway"), then what does he want to get? If he has no expectation of winning, then what is the pleasure of gambling? Is it really interesting to watch the process as the slots spin? Initially, a negative attitude as a principle is absurd for a gambler. Therefore, the question arises, then why play at all?

If a bet allows me to win big like a jackpot in the lottery, will I be back to gambling? Probably still but it won't be the same as before. I'll allocate some money on it just to have fun and to go back to the traces on why I've got a good living because of the prize jackpot that I've won.

The caveat in gambling, just like in trading too, is to stake what one can afford to lose. It doesn't matter whether it's small amount or not. For me, I don't think those who even stake little amount are better off than those who stake large funds. Just make sure what you're staking isn't something that gives you nightmare. If it does, it simply means you're over staking your funds. What I frown at in gambling isn't the amount that's staked but addiction. Amount staked is relative to gamblers. Every gambler should define their risk appetite by themselves.

Those who stake little amount always regret it when they hit wins. If one must eat a frog, why not eat the rotund ones? That's my philosophy.
