How does Bitcoin promotes privacy when we all know Satoshi's wallet address that's worth Billions today? This is not a monero style digital currency, we all know how much Nakamoto is worth but what we don't know is who Nakamoto really is, is there something we need to learn here? A Bitcoin wallet belongs to a whale, and it's worth millions of dollars, whale is just a human with lots of Bitcoin in holding, there is no identity who this wallet address really belongs to, whales tend to keep it this way and so should everyone out there too.

It is too late for me to keep the secret of my crypto involvement since I am one of those who want this adoption to happen but trust me, I always make sure I don't look rich or talk about huge amount of money, if I have any need to open my Bitcoin wallet it's always almost empty or few dollars in it.

The most painful part of your statement is that some of people who intend to bring others down had the opportunity to buy Crypto especially Bitcoin earlier but they overlooked the opportunity and even keep deaf ears when you still try to advise them concerning investing on it now that it's still cheap, but would go behind to plot with criminals to steal the one you've tried to accumulate.

 Well, their are still good and trustworthy people but how would one know cause trust is not written on the face of anyone, someone can pretend to be trustworthy whereas the person is plotting evil against you, so the best thing to do is keeping your crypto investment a secret and avoid revealing your portfolio to anyone.

But you have to hit a balance somehow. That is, if you don't want your Bitcoin or crypto investment to die with you. I don't even know if it's advisable to be entirely discreet of your Bitcoin investment. It's hard to find a balance, but I guess you have to.

You could find yourself in an accident, for example, that puts you in a coma or in a vegetative state. Your Bitcoin savings could help your family a lot in taking care of you, but it's gone with your consciousness. All of your Bitcoin savings are wasted. Or you could suffer an amnesia, for example, or whatever that makes you lose your memory. If you didn't provide signs to your loved ones that you have Bitcoin savings, all of it would perish with your memory. That would be such a waste.

For me, keeping your investment discreet is a must. However, if you can trust your partner to keep it private just between the both of you, much better. At least if something happened to you accidentally, then your investment will still be in the good hands. Or your partner will make use of it so that everything about financial matters will be be dealt promptly.

In my country, if people get to know you are into cryptocurrencies, they will either begin to see you as a very rich person or a scammer. A scammer because they believe scammers use Bitcoin to hide their identity. Being seen as either of these two is not good, as you will either become a target to beggars and criminals or be given a negative reputation for no reason.

We have read and watched news reports about high-profile people being kidnapped by villains.  Money is evil-magnet.  They attract criminals like thieves, robbers, scammers and swindlers.  They also attract borrowers and beggars too.

If people learned that you have a high-yielding investment, they would look at you as a walking gold, those with bad intentions will plan against you and your wealth, so it is best to be secretive, careful and low profile if we have crypto investments.

We are our own bank, banks secured their banks through CCTV, security personnel and customized vaults, if they are that tight, our way to do that is to be very discreet on our cryptocurrency portfolio and employ the best security when we are online and using our wallet.
Holding a cryptocurrency portfolio is very much different when you entrust it to a third party, you are responsible on all your actions so check how you secure your portfolio online and offline, is it really secured.

You don't need to tell people about your crypto involvement because it's a security threat to you. You don't have to flaunt it online too since we're not completely anonymous. Relating our crypto to extended family and even every members of the nuclear family isn't a very healthy thing. It's best to have only a member of your nuclear family or two know about your holdings, so as to reduce exposure to threat since some setups comes even from family members.

It's why if someone is holding a lot of crypto holdings. They shouldn't be too open to it as a discussion.

If you happen to have some people whom you don't trust put the topic on you and asks your holdings, it's best to change the topic or tell them that you are not comfortable discussing it.

Or tell them that you haven't check it for a while and so you don't know what's currently happening with it. And much better to not give an idea that you have it.
