If you think you can trade when you are on journey, then it’s fine, some people will want to be alone, they will want to have full concentration if they are trading, but some people don’t care even when they are on journey, they can do their analysis even when they are not so comfortable, and they will enter trade. You can decide to trade whenever you are comfortable, or whenever you feel you can trade, I do trade whenever I like, even if am on journey I do trade as long as am not the one driving. what you should do is that just study yourself, do what you know that works for you.

Like those kind of people never made sense to me, I get that you could be trading on your laptop, or even when laying on your couch on your phone, but that doesn't mean you should, and even if you could, that doesn't mean you could make that kind of return on the road itself. That is beyond success, if you do that AND make a profit, consistently, then you are doing a great job.

Most people barely make money even if they are at home, on their PC, most of them lose money, and only a smaller portion make a profit consistently, like 30% of the traders. So if you can travel and do it on the road, you are in a very niche group of people.

I have seen people that are flaunting their trading wins and their boasting that they've done that through only their phone. I'm not sure if I am going to believe them but I am uncomfortable doing trades on the phone. I wouldn't generalized that. Let's be specific on trading because people can still make money through their PCs at home through various means like working from home and other side hustles that they know what to do. And these are the kind of people that I believe that are free to travel while working. And for traders, they also can but not most of them are.

It is obvious that it will be very difficult to analyze the graph using a mobile phone. So in this case, there may be mistakes when making a decision, which in turn will lead to a loss of money. But if you already have an open order, you will need to track it even while traveling.

Something @Potato Chips said people aren't seem to be aware, you actually can't trade while travelling. This is according not to my experience but of a couple of friends, who aren't even trading but exchanging crypto/fiat.

I discover this myself even with Binance, which if I login on my company computer, which is on enforced VPN. It either doesn't let me login, or even blocks my account then when I went to customer support to unlock it, they told me I can't use Binance when traveling, AML rules, weird right? And this is Binance... who allowed people to fake passports

I think if the trip is for personal work or office work then trading is not for you at that time. Because if you want to trade at this time, you must give time from the market and be focused on trading. But you cannot trade at this time because you may be busy with your personal work. So it is not right for you to trade at this time. Or if you are traveling for some fun and joy, then trading at this time will make your trading more fun. So I would say that apart from your personal job, you can definitely trade anywhere you travel if your device has a network connection.

When it comes to loses then there's no such thing about being that a perfect trader or someone who doesnt commit loses. If there's one who do claim then thats surely a scammer that you are  talking into.
Now in the speaks about trading while travelling then it will be that depending into you whether you would be able to execute good trades or you wont be that distracted. It all matters about into your ability on not to get distracted because for me it is a bit hassle when you do make up some trades while you are in transit or when you are travelling or simply when you are at a vacation. I do rather prefer on taking up trades in my own room and i dont like on getting distracted or something because we do know that when it comes to trading then proper analysis and concentration is you do need to make up some entries.

We certainly have individual preferences when trading. Some just want a quiet environment as they can be easily distracted, while others are fine with it. I fall on those traders who need a quiet place in order to gain focus and can analyze the market well. However, success is not guaranteed even if you trade far from those distractions, it can only be possible with your own skills and enhanced strategies that you apply when trading.

Trading is about profit and losses no doubt but experience trading over the years helps you to get better and trade smarter don't you think so? before becoming a good trader your losses are good lessons if you don't lose all the time it is not bad. Sometimes when you are making profit a little mistake can land you to inquiring losses so the best thing is to take a break when you noticed that, continue after a while if you think the losses are getting out of hand you can automatically stop trading for the day.

Trading while traveling can be a fun and challenging experience, if we see a gap or good opportunity in the market while on vacation why don't we take advantage of it well. While on the other hand it may be difficult to focus and maintain discipline in making decisions due to disturbances from the surrounding environment. And indeed if we want or much better results and performance Home and office are the main solutions there you can be much more focused and there are no disturbances from anywhere and for internet access is much faster than you while traveling.

Do we really get much testimonies from traders stating that they usually have fun while on a journey and at same time trading? To make good analysis , the trader needs to be fully focused for some hours or minutes and if they are in a convenience space to do that while traveling, better for the trader but I know that there are some people that can not. Everyone does not have the same ability to catch up with things even in a space of distraction but some people can cope. Those that still finds it convenient to perform better in such space and smart but another thing depends on the medium of transportation.

how is it for you?

Well it all depends on the kind of travel that is involved if it is a long or short journey. For me when I embark on longer journeys I do not trade at all, I only trade when I travel on shorter journeys, still I do not really place serious trades because I may not be fully focused due to sight seeing or maybe due to the stress associated with travelling. As we all know travelling takes a lot of energy, and missing a trade because you were stuck in a traffic or because your hotel wifi was acting up is very frustrating.

They can trade while traveling but with one term, they can manage their time and not forget that they are still travelling. They can place one or two order and leave it for a while or set the target price they want. But they should calm down when they analyze and not in rush because that will determine you to profit or lose.

I remember my friend who still trade while travelling. Although we already reminded him not to touch his phone, he still trade and miss many things in many place in the road. But we don't blame them because he have his own reason.

So that will depend on how your situation and if you think you can handle everything while in travelling. Those who have skill do not want to be late to place the order. But they should realize when they can trade or not.

I've been through situations that i do made out some immediate trade because my position is just that for short term or making up some day trade. Whenever I do make out some scalping then I do need that I should be at my computer. If ever you are that wanting or needing up to check some trading positions then its not bad to check it out as long its necessary then you can trade while you are on travel but just like on what others been saying that there are people who doesnt want out to get be distracted specially if they are together with their family on which they dont really like for them to get disturbed on which instead of doing trading then they would call it a day and would be skipping out on which I do also agree into this idea too. For me then I'm a versatile type of person on which i can easily switch up on different scenarios or situations on which as long it would be getting in line with my needs then there would be no issues with this. We do know on how important on having monitoring about into your open trades not unless if its a swing one then it doesnt need up to be checked from time to time. Trading while travelling might be that distracting thing because you do need up to focus on every positions that you are that making because its not something that you can be just that confident or could be that careless. We do know on how crucial on every positions that we are making because once that you do have a mistake then it will be costing you. Its recommended that you should be focusing about into the positions that you are making. Concentration and dedication is needed but of course skills and knowledge is needed. Mistakes are part of learning and its up to you on how you would be absorbing it out.

It would depend on the environment I’m traveling in. If it’s a quiet compartment where no one would bother me, then of course I wouldn’t mind making a few trades if the timing and market situation were right. But if it’s a noisy bus or some other loud place where I’d be distracted and interrupted, I would definitely prefer not to trade and not to waste my time on it. Because in such an environment, I think I could make mistakes.

sometimes it can be done when there is a really calm and comfortable time when trading. It must be done focused when accessing it without all that the mind will be scattered and become inconsistent when you work on it, because you have to be able to think more clearly and opportunities can be done when filling the free time you get when traveling occurs, but it all depends on the conditions that allow it to happen.
