I guess even if I would chose to continue working, that won’t compromise my bitcoin investment. So definitely, I will never leave my job yet just because bitcoin price turns into million. Know that it could hit $1 million today and drop the following day, so there’s no guarantee that it will stay on its peak price for a long time.

It’s best if I will still continue to work while I’m still much capable to, so I can earn more of my extra money and put them into bitcoin. That would be a better idea then.

One thing to consider here is, wealth actually depreciates. Bitcoin hitting $1million doesn’t mean you would always have it at that price and never get to spend a couple of them Bitcoins. Of course you would want to spend some of those and that’s how you would find your holdings loosing its value and your wealth depreciating. What to do?
You just have to keep up with investment to ensure the little you take, the more you get to replace. Other than that, you would just be loosing out every other day in the name of retirement.

The human body is designed to be active, both physically and mentally. Doing otherwise is a sickness, being lazy is a disease and that's why such people tend to have bad auras around them. If you are smart, you will use your riches correctly. For example, this could include reducing your total work time and increasing your healthy hobby time. You could do a lot more sports consistently. Another option would be to change your work from something that you have to do to earn money but don't really like to a job that you love but doesn't earn as much. In any case, being lazy or addicted to any kind of entertainment is one of the worst things you could do.

For bitcoin to reach 1mil USD, it will take a long time, and by long, I mean really long.

For retirement, dont think of that to be funded by bitcoin reaching 1mil, that is unrealistic, it might happen but it might not as well by the time we live here.

I may considering to retire from my work if I can make a lot of money from crypto. But before I retire, I will prepare many things so I can still earn money. I need to have a source of income that can earn money so I don't have to work like before and enjoy my time with family.

I have goals I want to achieve in the future and having a passive income is one of my goals. We all have different goals we want to achieve so it is normal if your friend has that goal that he wants to achieve. So lets us working on that and achieve our goals in the future.

For me, if BTC reach $1 million and I have a decent amount, I would most likely slow down or change course instead of retiring entirely. I still want to remain active, maybe start a passion project or do something more significant. Although full retirement sounds great I feel as though I would still desire some sort of schedule or goal.

First of all we don't know what will happen in the future, when the price of $1 million will happen, maybe it could happen only in the next few years, however, if it happens in the near future, surely many people are considering being able to retire from its increase, especially those who bought Bitcoin from the current price or even at a lower price, but i personally will not take my full Bitcoin profit, i will only sell a few tens of percent to enjoy the benefits, the rest will still be there, because when it happens it is likely that Bitcoin is legal to be used as a means of payment, hopefully

You need to consider whether the assets you have are able to finance your various needs in retirement, be it for daily needs, health costs, lifestyle, or other costs. So what your friend said, that he will retire when the price of the assets in his portfolio reaches a certain amount, maybe he has a total asset that he feels is sufficient to finance his retirement, or he just said something he doesn't understand.

For me, even if Bitcoin reaches $ 1 million USD, I will not decide to retire from my job. Because I feel that it is still not enough and as long as I can still make money, why do I need to stop? It is better for me to keep working, and then I use the income from it again to invest, build a business, and various other things, which can generate more money. I only retire when I feel that it is enough and my body is no longer able to move as usual.

Do you mean retire from work or retire from buying Bitcoin? If there is anyone who will retire from work when Bitcoin reaches $1 million, then such person would have already retired now that Bitcoin over $100k because it means he is holding a huge bad already. There are people that love being engaged in something and not sit idly, such people never retire because Bitcoin get to a certain level, their job is just their passion and not because of the money... this is an ideal situation. If my job is not conflicting with my Bitcoin portfolio management, I have no reason to retire from service.

I don't want to retire until my bitcoin holdings reach the amount I want. You should think twice about retiring if you only have 1 btc - but if you have 10 btc, it might be safe for you to retire when the price reaches $1M per piece. But we may be faced with one fact that - someone who only has 0.1 btc dreams of early retirement when bitcoin price hits $1M. Of course it's not about you - but someone else.

I currently don't own up to 1 bitcoin so I am not retiring even if the price of Bitcoin reaches $1 billion dollars, I will continue to work, and assuming that I even end up making over $1 million dollars from bitcoin (an amount of money enough for any to retire and enjoy their life) I still won't retire, I will continue to work because...
1. I am still very young and staying idle doing nothing will make life very boring for me.
2. My working isn't just for and about money, it's also about passion, doing something I find to be fun and love doing, the money I am making from it is no other than a reward.

So, in the nutshell, bitcoin price and me making a lot of profit won't cause me to retire, I will continue to work until I have no more strength to work before I finally retire.

By then, I can think of what next to do, to retire, to become my own boss who employs others to work in their own establishment, to get them paid at the end of month. Your right but I think that this post  is trying to evaluate the position and stand on people's mindset and behavior concerning Bitcoin especially for holders who has plans of holding their Bitcoin asserts for as long as possible we know that there is death but if eventually button gets to a million dollars in your life time what will you do with your bitcoin assets

I think not working, doing nothing and just living off your pension savings or Bitcoin is not a desirable life. Believe me if for example you already have 10 or 20 Bitcoins then you decide to retire and just stay at home like an unemployed person, in a few weeks you will feel very bored and lose the meaning of life. I once read a book and it said there that the real purpose of having a lot of money is financial freedom and being free to do whatever you want. And that is the "retirement" that billionaires in this world want. They don't work hard just to get money to live. But they do whatever they want without having to worry about tomorrow. Some super rich people even spend their days selling in stores. The difference is they don't worry about the amount of profit that day. They just want to sell and that's it.

No, I'm not going to retire. I like starting new investments and enterprises. If I still had a large sum of Bitcoin held and its price went to the moon, I would put the money into good use through different initiatives of business I have in mind. I think life goes much beyond just having money and accumulating it. Money gives us the opportunity to extent our horizons to new ideas, knowledges and discoveries. That is the bright side of it.

To simply retire seems a simpleton goal for me. I believe to retire means the individual is just waiting the death to knock his door.

If that will happen, it'll reached more than 10trillion dollars mcap which can possibly surpassed the actual Gold which is very difficult to happen but not impossible. Well, majority of us will hit summit and take profit from the long-term holding and will try to diversify assets which is a good move. You don't need to stick to one asset only, use bitcoin to be more consistent on getting profits from every possible investment you can have. Retirement maybe? But of course, you should be practical in life, sometimes it's enough but securing a future with consistent profit is still recommended.

I am not yet thinks about that because Bitcoin still far away from $1 million. We don't know when it will happen so we don't have to think much. It is better we prepare ourselves by continue accumulating Bitcoin before the price really hit the highest price and make us lose the chance to buy at a low. It will be up to your friend because we have different plan to do. We will not be the same like them because we have our own target in life. I don't know when I will retire from my job, but maybe 10-15 years from now but I will retire someday.

When Bitcoin gets to $1,000,000, nobody really knows when that will happen, but still some can't take their mind from thinking about it and comparing/speculating exactly when they want it to happen when they could be busy focused on other things. $1,000,000 for Bitcoin, if compared to now, will be a high price, but that won't be the highest price for it to reach itsl-time high; that will be considered to be the highest, but it won't last forever.

I personally don't have enough Bitcoin to even think of such possibility, and I doubt I ever will. One Bitcoin is certainly not enough, unless it surpasses the $1,000,000 everyone is so proudly talking about, and even then, it might not be enough in a developed country. However, I'm not that confident about it, it sounds extremely far-fetched and overexaggerated, I hope I'm proven wrong.

I'm pretty sure $1M isn't worth much in developing countries either. Some people will spend a lot of money on consumer goods and luxury lifestyles when they have $1M - so it's not much anymore, unless they reinvest it in long-term assets. I'm not saying $1M is a small amount - but I don't think it's a lot when the lifestyle increases. They need to build a mansion, buy a luxury car and everything - so $1M will be worth less when it's used for a luxury lifestyle.

Holding 1 btc is not enough to guarantee financial security even if the price reaches $1M. Maybe some people really think that $1M will not run out to cover all their living needs for decades - but in fact, when it is not managed properly, $1M will only run out in a few years.
