Bitcoin 2025 guest line up to include Ross Ulbricht and...Peter Schiff?

The only two things I want to hear from Peter Schiff's mouth when he comes on stage is
"I was an idiot and totally wrong about bitcoin. Please accept my deepest and sincerest apologies."

Anything less and he'll be getting a hundred tomatoes thrown in his face from the hardcore bitcoin audience.
Also "To make up for being such an ass all these years I will be selling all my gold to buy bitcoin."

it seems this will be one of the huge btc conference that we have ever seen and this time with many VIP involved.

They have 400+ speakers scheduled May 27-29, so looks to be the largest bitcoin conference in history.
But how is it even possible to schedule so many to speak in only two days unless they're only getting
about 2 minutes each to say something? It seems to me one to two weeks would be a more appropriate
timeline to fit in 400 people.

I'm starting to believe that Peter Schiff might be a Bitcoin HODLer himself even though he likes to troll the community in X. If you read the post's replies from the plebs like us, they ARE laughable which probably keeps him entertained.

But what would be truly funny is if he actually own more Bitcoin than most of the plebs, including me, of BitcoinTalk.

I am surprised to find Ross Ulbricht's name there, i thought after he was pardoned by Donald Trump, he was going to stay low and under the radar, but i don't think that is what he intends to do. I am also not sure about the title of 'freedom fighter', lol.

Peter Schiff criticizes BTC a lot, but i believe deep down he knows he is wrong about many things concerning BTC, i would not say i am surprised to find his name there, because it is obvious that he cannot get BTC out of his mouth. Good to also see that the U.S. vice president is one of the guest speakers.

Ross Ulbricht has been condemned by many people in the community because he was marked as a "criminal", but what Ross Ulbricht also was, was a PIONEER BUILDER for how and what Bitcoin actually is in essence.

He's wrong but he probably makes those posts knowing that he's wrong. He merely wants to make everyone mad for his entertainment.

peter schitt again. Boo… I guess they invited him to make fun of him and you know what? He deserves it all. I feel sorry for his followers who did what he said and didn’t buy any bitcoin in the last decade. Even himself is sorry for the opportunity he missed. He still won’t buy btc now though. He can’t change his course anymore. He has to defend his position to the end and that will harm his followers even more. I hope people lighten up and stop listening to his bullshit. Numbers speak louder than words.

Peter Schiff said that on this conference, he agreed to warn people that the party is over and wants to give them an alternative. It's very strange to be honest to invite him but maybe they plan to have debates on this conference? Idk. I also checked the list and I can't find any Bitcoin skeptic, other than Peter Schiff, maybe they really plan to make fan of him, who knows  He will be alone against the whole audience and other speakers, he will be bullied.

His followers share his vision, so I don't feel sorry for their loss, they want it or otherwise they can unfollow Peter Schiff, shake their own head and think clearly.

You know what.  In a world where CRITICal thinking seems to be a priority, having a critic at a Bitcoin conference is not a bad idea at all.  I much rather see two opposite sides than only people who make Bitcoin seem like the revival of Jesus.

I know Schiff has been an avid critic of Bitcoin, sometimes a silly one even.  But sometimes he does have good points to make and at the end of the day, the goal of our community should in my opinion be finding ways to get EVERYBODY aboard rather than spit on all the critics and lock ourselves in our own community.

It is hard for a lot of people to acknowledge there are cons to Bitcoin too.  Rather than throwing back a 'but so is Gold X, Y and Z!', things would go so much smoother if we all tried to find a way for all of us to be part of this thing and be happy with what it can bring us.  Schiff is old after all, he is a gold head too, but what if he switches sides and finally sees the spark in Bitcoin after all these years?  I would be happy.

And even if Schiff is there to promote Gold against Bitcoin and all, I do not mind if people invest in other assets too.  No basket should hold all eggs.  I rather hear of people owning Gold and Bitcoin than all sorts of Shitcoins and Fiat.  I am an avid Bitcoin supporter, but realistically it is a crazy thing to invest in Bitcoin ONLY, particularly considering the highly varying price and sometimes horribly bearish market.

Also, people are hypocrites.  Was Michael Saylor not a controversial figure in the Bitcoin community until he switched sides and joined our boat?  Why would Schiff be different?

It will be nice to see one of Bitcoin's biggest troll go on stage and make a fool of himself. I also wish the organizers of the event can hand him an award after he's done speaking, "the bitcoin clown of the decade."

I'm sure Peter Schiff was merely joking in that X post. But for the sake of the ensuing of hilarity in that conference, I would truly want to watch it LIVE, and I do hope he will say it. Haha.

Well I do think a rich whale did like the speech Ross did give at this. Ross just did receive a donation for 300 Bitcoins that is worth $31.4 Million.
