People that sold at $77k were not aware that price will go back to $109k again talk more of going to create a new all time high, that was why they sold to avoid loss, they didn't realize that they will be the people losing at last. It's because of fear, lack of adequate Bitcoin knowledge, investing with funds that they can not hold for a long time and last because they don't want to enter a long term investment, those are the reason I can think of that caused some people to sell so easily. The $77k price was even an opportunity to buy more and not to sell but some people did without knowing that we are not yet in the bearish season.

I have some bitcoins that I bought for under $30k during the 2022 bear market and have not sold them, so far. But if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops to $70k or even $50k, and I need money urgently and have no choice but to sell my bitcoins. I don't think I'm a loser, and I'm not someone who doesn't believe bitcoin will reach a new ATH.


Not all people who sell bitcoin for $50k, $70k are newbies or lack knowledge about bitcoin, sometimes they sell because they have achieved their goals or for other personal reasons.

Those who sell it are stupid people because they don't see the real price of Bitcoin being traded. The owner of the exchange made an apology not without cause and purpose too. Binance is a large and well-known exchange that already exists, if they apologize to those who sold Bitcoin at $77,000, then that's not enough. They have a lot of Bitcoin, compensate for them.

Those who have sold at $77k or even earlier feel bad while looking at the price of Bitcoin. But are we going to blame them? no. It's just a reminder that there is more for Bitcoin as we hold longer. And those who sold early at a lower price, I guess with the intensity that CZ is telling them, he wants them to feel guilty about their decisions. Bitcoin has the potentials to keep increasing and reaching more ATH in the future so there is tendency of regrets anytime you sell and price increases significantly. If you decide to sell now, it'll be expected that you should regret if price hits something like $150k so regrets will never stop if you're looking at it from the standpoint of regretting when you sell and it pumps. Everybody have to sell their Bitcoin sometime and it won't mean that it cannot pump again after doing so, I think that if you have a need to sell do so it's your money. Jokes aside his statements don't make much sense : maybe those people bought bitcoin at a way lower price and they are very happy with their profit or many other hypothesis can be made. The purpose of an exchange is to facilitate coins changing hands and they are frankly happy people do that regardless the prices they do it at.

I'm sure he does but there is no need to publicize it because, you know, that can make him look like he is only after the profit, although many of us are also happy when adoption happens not only because of profit but this is like an achievement for BTC and to our community.

Those that doubted its dominance and never expected for it to have come this far will be surprised now, those that sold early will also regret it now. Actually its just that an ordinary day as we do all know yet this is how this market works or behaves on which it do goes up and at the same time it could possibly go down. There's always those words about having those regrets that they should have bought on a specific $xxxx price and if they do able to do that then they are making up some profits now as the price had already that been able to reach up new all time highs. Now that we had made out some new ath's and on the current condition on which there's some rejection and there are talks about having that serious drop, then how people or the community would be taking on this? They’re probably in FOMO now, especially seeing that Bitcoin broke its previous all-time high just last month IIRC.

Those who sold, if they weren’t in it for the long term are likely regretting it. But if they sold for a decent profit, then they still came out as winners.

Even with Bitcoin now over $100K, the possibility of a dump is always there. And that’s what some of them are waiting for, to accumulate again at a lower price and sell for instant profit once it recovers. Because one thing’s for sure, Bitcoin always finds a way to bounce back.

Am sure people that sold bitcoin when the price was still low will end up regretting why they sold their, but that doesn’t mean some of them were not in good profit when they sold their bitcoin. When investing, we are always having target, and when target is reach some will end up selling, people won’t be holding bitcoin for every, and if we all are holding bitcoin, we are going to be making money, but bitcoin is not really serving its purpose yet, bitcoin was created to serve as alternative currency so we are suppose to be transacting with it, and not just holding alone.

Some people bought bitcoin when the price was below $1k so if those people sell their bitcoin at @77k, I don’t think their is anything they should regret about because they have made some good profits already and I don’t see anything bad in selling.

I believe we are going to see a ton of situation changing for this, but CZ went to jail for unrelated reasons, it was due to Binance not following USA law, so it is not like he isn't someone we shouldn't listen to when he says something.

However, if we were to think about bitcoin, I agree that we are going to just keep holding and do a better job of that, if we do that then we are going to make a better return and make a better money from it as well. Most people sell and they regret, so in this case, OP and you are saying the same thing. This is basically just holding money and not selling any, if you do that long enough then you are going to make some money without any issues. Maybe what you meant is that it's cyclical. And it's normal though, I mean we once are newbies here, and in 2017, I didn't hold and just sell everytime that there is a dip as I was in panic mode. But after that, yeah, it could that I have regret my decisions and I wasted a lot of money.

But I didn't take it negatively, what I do is learn from my mistakes and then I became to developed that tough mentality to just hold and accumulate and not panic sell. So let that be a lesson for newbies as well, almost everyone has undergone that process, but still though, we will teach you everything we learn so that you won't make the same mistakes that we did before.
