This weekend was honestly great! OFI won against Levadiakos with two goals in an outstanding match in the Pancretan stadium. At the same time, AEK won against PAOK with three goals, something I wasn't expecting from AEK (I have a lot of AEK friends and they're going to be ecstatic). Panathinaikos vs. Olympiakos is still live, with only a few minutes left, but it doesn't matter at this point, as Olympiakos has already won with two goals. Great weekend overall and I'm quite happy with the results.

I was away for over a week and hadn't even logged on the forum till yesterday evening. I see that this thread hasn't been updated at all and wanted to provide a heads up about the previous weekend. OFI successfully won the Greek Cup after 39 years, for the second time, after a long match against PAOK. Both teams played great and I honestly wasn't expecting us to win, but it actually happened. The whole city was celebrating for days and it was a great experience!

As for the Greek Super League, I'm posting the upcoming matches, which are quite interesting, especially Olympiakos vs. PAOK, Panathinaikos vs. AEK and OFI vs. Aris.

Surprisingly, PAOK won against Olympiakos in a great game with a final score of 3 vs. 1, something I wasn't expecting because Olympiakos attempted way more times to score against PAOK and had the ball's position for a higher time. I also wasn't expecting OFI, who won against PAOK in the Greek Cup, lose from Aris, it seems that after winning the Cup, they've let their guard down for the Greek Super League, which is relatively understandable, but still I didn't expect such a result.

So far, AEK is winning the Super League, with 60 points, followed by Olympiakos with 58 and PAOK with 57.

Today's matches weren't anything extraordinary, featuring teams on the relegation round, I was only a bit surprised seeing Atromitos lose from Panetolikos. Anyway, tomorrow is the big game for my team, Aris vs. OFI and also the two derbies between AEK vs. Panathinaikos and Olympiakos vs. PAOK. So far, AEK has the lead with 67 points, followed by PAOK and Olympiakos with 61 points. The games tomorrow will play a crucial role in who's ultimately going to win the Super League this year.

AEK is heading towards the path to victory, winning against Panathinaikos once again, while Olympiakos vs. PAOK ended in a tie. OFI on the other hand doesn't seem to care much after winning the Greek Cup and lost against Aris with three goals, which is understandable on the one hand, but I would still expect a better performance from OFI. The next matches are taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I believe the winner of this League has already been drawn. @Alani123 are you still following the Greek Super League?

The Greek super league is slowing coming to an end for this year, it's prevalent that AEK is ahead in the championship and nothing can change that. Tomorrow are the final matches, featuring OFI vs. Volos, Aris vs. Levadiakos, Panathinaikoa vs. PAOK and lastly, Olympiakos vs. AEK. Great performance from AEK overall and surprisingly ahead of Olympiakos with a significant difference of seven points.

Season's closed now. AEK is the champion and OFI is the cup holder.

We had the playoffs and the play outs. I'll keep this thread open for some more discussion in case anyone wants to say anything more for this season that's not finishing. We're supposed to see some good transfers this year and I'm sure all top teams including PAOK Panathinaikos and Olympiakos will want to invest a lot since they've fallen quite a bit behind.

For next year Aris is recommending top 6 teams enter the play offs and the rest bottom teams in the league play in a play out league after the first phase of the tournament. I think it's a proposal that makes a lot of sense but... It will probably not pass since the top 4 teams benefit a lot more from the current format and since they have the most influence they'll probably want to keep it.
