That is true. But I read some weeks or maybe a month ago about the Congress planning to weaken the president power in a way that he will have to notify the Congress before making any move like what Trump did. I have not read any other news about the progress but it would really be good.
The power of presidents needs to be regulated so that they will not become democratic dictators, it will be good that the American Congress should amend some sensitive areas. I personally see president Trump, as someone that is quite authoritative and if some of his powers are not put in check he can instinctively make laws that will affect the American people and economy negatively. Regarding this tariff saga I think that Trump, will have his way so that the world will take him seriously but I hope that future decisions that concerns other countries should be deliberated before he makes a bublic speech about it.
