I was thinking about the recent conflicts which are happening from last 20 years. Russia always having the great leader, afghan and us sweet friendships, India and Pak, pak and balochistan, afghanistan and Pakistan , Israel and palestine, etc etc etc small islands I am not mentioning

And I forgot ... the largest manufacturers one of the most powerful country china they have been into things with others but in a private space.


So what are your opinions on expantionism. Power is Power you have power you are powerful can do anything you want.

Bigger or smaller conflicts were happening for hundreds of years and unfortunately, it won't disappear in the future. I doubt that in world history there was such period of time which was completely peacful. There is always some bad guys who don't agree to play by the rules and want to change how world maps looks.
What is the dangers of expansions??  I can't find nothing positive about it, there is only all kind of danger related with war.

They are expanding due to simple reasons, natural resources. If you get to the history of it, there's always something that these nations are wanting to have and that's why they come across other nations, beating them and putting them into their colonony and part of their territory. It is not just all about that they want to take that land and expand their jurisdiction over that nation, no. But there's something that's on that land that they want to take. Natural resources, precious metals, and everything that they can take care of for their industries and nations to become more profitable. The dangers and powers of it is nothing lies but all about money.

The heart of a man is wicked and greedy, when they become powerful, they will want to oppress, fight and take whatever they want by force. This is why powerful countries wants to expand, fight and win territories. It's always the neighboring countries that suffers it. I think the very future will be very peaceful .
I have read books on Ancient civilizations those books says thst every human has dharma the books usually say that it is like a circle where there is good everywhere and slowly the bad things take over.

I thing that when there is a peak of something the circle restarts there might come a time that someone is so powerful that everyone will automatically be peaceful it will be more of a kingdom thing rather than nations.

* Utilize every feasible opportunities while the welfare of the masses be a prior of the government because when individuals are financially independent, they could always pay their taxes.

* Another powerful aspect that utters development to a country is the practice of diversifications that welcomes others cultures because, it could attract investors and encourages immigrants.

If all these expansion you mean are significants of development, then I will say there is no danger in development because, growth is what we all desires to live a better and comfortable life but then, while these developments may be coming, other affiliated such as neighboring countries and the colonial masters may engage on conflict with you.

It could be an approach of manipulating the civil peace or initializing political chaos or probably amidst the stakeholders of the promising (expanding/developing) country and then, the economy system may begin to be tormented by the haters.

Yes I agree with this, it is my opinion also that at a time when populations are
growing, consumerism is growing and resources are shrinking some countries
decide to harass and invade their weaker neighbour. That is the case for
Russia invading Ukraine and Israel for many many years claiming palestinian
territories and on the brink of a total invasion of Gaza.

It amazes me that in the 21st century some leaders/politicians cannot look back
in history and see the wrongs of the past or what they are doing presently.

Everything that goes with invasion like destruction, torture, rape, murder, ethnic
cleansing, genocide are still happening today, I would like to believe that they
will very shortly go one step too far and the rest of the world will act.

You would need first to realize there is a real difference between using political, militar and economical power to influence over other countries and imperialism, the latter involve the submission of a weaker country to a superpower ot stronger country (like China or the United States).
China uses both his passive power to get her influence over entire continents, like Asia and Latin America, while at the same time, tries to be as imperialistic as possible with the management of the Tibet region, the conflicts on the Indian-Chinese border and their plan to invade Taiwan.

In the end, we are talking about political systems and parties which are in the head of the administration of entire countries and have a very clear project for their country and the rest of the world, there is where the expansionism ideas come from, they want their model of society to be applied to the rest of their continent and beyond, regardless of the cultural differences of the captured countries or territories. You cannot expect a Latino to have the same societal values and way of thinking of a person from mainland China.

for countries that could expand they would have more resources as they expand territories they could grow significantly in terms of political, military and economic power and for those who get under expansion they will lose their own identity and their people will be discriminated and slaved

The problem is status quo that can change at any moment because borders used to be different.
Take Central Europe for instance. All the borders have changed every 100 years. Large part of Poland belonged to Germany, large part of Ukraine belonged to Poland, Lithuania was huge at one point and so was Hungary. Belarus was Russian...

Everybody can claim they owned this or that area at some point in time. The only way to keep peace is to accept current borders as they are. What Putin is doing right now is exactly what Hitler did in 1930s when he demanded Poland to give him land and there would be no war, but Poland refused and got invaded.

Expansion is good but it all depends on the area you are expanding to. In the context of this thread, I sense physical expansion which is the one that causes disagreement and war. But this is not the most dangerous expansion.
The one I consider a dangerous expansion is the one country like China is doing in Africa. They buy large land mass, they control the economy of the 3rd world countries.
This type of expansion is not bad for China but extremely dangerous to the indigenous countries of Africa.
It would be nice if every country is expanding and not some expand at the expense of the others.

That’s most of the things that a country that is expanding deserves: more resources and more opportunities for the youths and the people who have families, and also providing jobs for the community so that it can help all the people in that community when it is expanding. But there are some countries whose expansion causes danger; some, by the time they expand, will later lead to damage to a lot of people in the community.

That’s just the disadvantage of the expansion in some countries; if not, the expansion is bringing a lot of the population and the development to the community, which also provides the security for the environment. Because is  lack of population in some of the communities, that’s causes the insecurities.
