That's for sure, because if they don't have limits, no matter how much money they have, it's all spent on gambling. In my neighborhood, there was a businessman who was considered successful but went bankrupt because his gambling was so excessive that it could be described as an addiction. He used all his profits and even all his capital to gamble.
If someone gambles with limits, they likely won't care even if they lose, because the money they're using is an amount they're prepared to lose.
That's reality, when a person got addicted even how successful they are with their business all can be wasted thru gambling, it's a big problem when you are no longer capable to limit yourself as you can keep trying to play and aim to recover back whatever you already lose, but most of the time those who wants to recover ended in losing more to the point that they can risk everything they've got, then regret after.
When you've lost everything, regret seems meaningless because it won't bring it all back, even though it might be beneficial for the future, allowing you to be more careful. So, we really need to realize this sooner rather than later before we lose everything.
It's not easy for those addicted to gambling, as it requires more effort to return to normal. Often, when someone is addicted, they experience restlessness when they stop engaging in their addictive activity. However, if they can overcome this feeling, they can avoid the addiction.
