There's a sticky thread that fits to your needs before you start mining  you can find it under mining support.

Or just go to this thread here: First time/Small miner reference for getting started.

BTC is still bearish at the moment, but it is getting weak. The market might shift while the RSI is making a reversal pattern.

To get more advantage analyzing the market, why not try to subscribe to TradingView and unlock the $15 reward from your first subscription?

Actually, if you really want to find out various things about mining, especially Bitcoin, there are so many discussions in this forum, and one of them is mentioned by @BitMaxz, and you can even see some explanations on YouTube as mentioned by @FP91G, and I also often visit the channel several times.

For other references, you can also see some fairly complete explanations here: - Coinledger.io - Crypto Mining Guide

I can refer you to my hosts YouTube

https://www.youtube.com/@IowaMining

I can refer you to my main seller

https://altairtech.io/

I have zero idea of what you want to spend.

But I have six of these at my host.

https://altairtech.io/product/bitmain-antminer-s21-xp/

along with 1 Bitmain L7

https://www.ebay.com/itm/205528257920?

and 1 modded bitmain t21

https://www.ebay.com/itm/156984520065

my investment would be a lot for a new person around 50,000 usd

If you want a taste of commercial mining you would need the modded t21 and send it to a host like Iowa mining.

You would be laying out close to 2000 usd.

But that is commercial type of mining.  In your home you could buy a low cost beagle for 100 bucks it will lose money but you would learn from it.

There’s a lot to explore: from hardware setups and hashrates to power costs and software choices.

As other have probably said, the #1 thing to look at is the cost for power. If you cannot get power for less than about $0.05/KWh there is zero chance to mine at a profit. IF you get a hold of a (expensive) state-of-the-art high efficiency miner even with power at $0.07/KWh you can still run at a profit but expect a ROI of several years to do it. In both cases you would use a PPS pool for a (small) steady income.

Yes you can run a SMALL miner that is not very power hungry pointed at a solo mining site but that will be a pure lottery game with very very very low odds of ever finding a block within your lifetime.

Come on fuzzyboss Just make it simple for the new guy.

It is close to zero if you cannot mount up enough hashpower to compete with the existing miners, simple math.

Hobbyist mining is still a thing and just sell that piece of hardware when you are bored with it. I never recommend it, because people only come to mining expecting to getting rich quick which everyone seems to believe ("trust me bro") Roll Eyes

OP I hope you have done the most important research first? Because right now you just want to find a Asic miner to buy and start mining, how about the first important thing to do? Which is your cost of electricity?

Have you done some calculations on your grid power bills? This needs to be cheap enough for your mining to become profitable.

Make sure this is right first before buying any Asic miners or you will end up like a friend who later had no choice than to sold his brand new Asic miner because he can't keep up with the power bills.
