You are right, we shouldn't take gambling seriously as this activity is full of uncertainty. In my experience with gambling, it's really just winning and losing. Don't treat gambling, investment as a full time job infact don't treat anything that isn't a job as a full time job you may just lose your full time job, I actually don't understand why in 2025 gambling is still seen as the only problem.

As long as the important thing is considered the money of yours is gone already if you are going to play gambling on any casino platform, but it is not right to think that playing gambling is a job, because gambling is not designed in that aspect.

Sometimes, many gamblers who end up gambling beyond their means actually had a gambling budget, and for what it's worth, they may have also been following it religiously until maybe along the line, something happened that led them into abandoning their ways and choose to adopt another. Well i don't always blame most of these gamblers who do this, because gambling isn't something that we can completely control at all time, sometimes we find out we are in total control, sometimes we find out we're losing some of those control and that's just what makes us gamblers.

I know few men in real life who lives like you say. But no one of them don`t plan bankruptcy. And they are not some influencers/blogers/promoters - they just bet their own money on their own predictions. At least two of them get more profit than my salary(and it is good enough for my country).

I really liked the connection with the elective that you made when talking about gambling and I would also like to say that nevertheless many people try to make money from gambling, but these are only poker players that I know about.
These guys are trying to push the odds in their favor, and poker, like blackjack, is one of the types of gambling where you can actually do that, and these guys play six tables at once and they really do see it as a job, but I think there's still a pretty big chance of failure there, and you can't rely on that kind of income all the time.

I know of someone that couldn't control himself and became an addict. He gambles at work. Sometimes, when if his network is bad, he goes out to book a game in a bet shop feeling unconcerned about his actions. Unknown to him that his Boss is aware that he's a gambler because his commitment to his job and contributions to the company growth reduced. He got fired and got frustrated. Your job should be your priority and gambling should be the least in your mind.

I think that for a player to start treating gambling like a job they first need to earn enough from gambling for some time to cover all their needs and even save something. I never managed to do that and for me it has always been much harder to make money from gambling than from my job. In fact I never succeeded in that so I have always valued and still value my job. For me it is the number one source of income. Gambling has always remained just entertainment and of course I strictly control the money I can afford to spend on it. This separation helps me keep a good balance between gambling and work.
