It will not be in all cities as there are countries that banned Bitcoin, or countries that don't accept. Or the legality is still in question.

Plus, it's very expensive to used it, unless you just want to have that experience. But to be honest, it's not that convenient to me.

It's not possible for Bitcoin ATM to be in all cities because bitcoin isn't fiat and the cost is expensive. People who loves privacy will definitely not use bitcoin ATM because they can be target to criminals from the ATM machine when they are using it. We have seen alot of attack on crypto holders recently and it's good to stay safe.

Bitcoin ATMs have premium fees when compared to other modes. Their operational costs are also not that cheap.
Besides that there is risk of damage and theft. So I honestly don't think many people or companies would prefer operating bitcoin ATMs.
For that reason, according to me, we might not see it in every city but may we will see it in few major cities only.

Imagine that they were invented in 1967 and in the 80s several companies were producing them, but from that point it took whole 35 years for the first machine to reach Somalia. I believe everything is possible to happen as far as the technology is concerned, and the internet still exists in every city. Since there are a lot of cities that are using bitcoins, the ATM might be available. Because even in terms of the transaction, it is very fast without spending much of the charges, and according to some of the people, Bitcoin ATM is already available for cities. I will not disagree with them.

Because it’s possible to happened since everything works in a gradual process, maybe it’s just a few countries that are using it for now; that’s why we never know about it, but even though the Bitcoin ATM is available today, there will still be some cities that will not know about it because it will not reach some countries the same way the internet works, and there are some of the cities that didn’t know anything about it.

It cannot be answered when it will happen because not all countries in the world accept Bitcoin properly as currency. There are other purposes and objectives why ATM machines are not provided as desired, it may be easier to use transactions via wallets if they want to make small transactions such as when they are on vacation. There are also exchanges that have a pay card feature. I don't know.

Bitcoin ATM machines are not non-existent because some countries have provided them at several locations in their cities.

I think your question is not complete, because if your question is complete I will know if you are talking about if ATM is across every cities if we are not going to exchange in exchange platforms again, so that's what I want to know, for what I have heard from people who used Bitcoin ATM machine, the machine doesn't dispense a traditional currency, only what it doe's is to be use for bitcoin transfer from your bank to another wallet, I have never heard that with bitcoin ATM machine you can exchange your bitcoin to a traditional currency

Of course, it would be ideal to have Bitcoin ATMs installed in all cities and to be able to use them without any issues.But that’s not really feasible for several reasons for example, regulation. Crypto still isn’t clearly regulated in many countries, and without proper laws, it’s difficult to legally install an ATM.Also, these ATMs require maintenance and cash refills, which can be a problem in smaller towns.All in all, while it is technically possible, i personally think it’s currently unrealistic, because in smaller areas it simply wouldn’t be widely used or present.

Bitcoin ATMs already exist, but the reason why it is not in all the cities is because Bitcoin, let alone Bitcoin ATMs is still young and still being the adoption stage.

I think that's not the main reason IMO.
It also depends on the regulations surrounding crypto in the city, different cities or countries have different rules regarding it.  Another reason could be that purchasing, installing, and operating Bitcoin ATMs is costly.  If a city can't generate enough transactions, operators will be reluctant to invest there.

I tend to agree with the comment on the first page of this thread.
I also prefer to see the growth of Bitcoin payment acceptance over Bitcoin ATMs.
Buying Bitcoin from an ATM is quite expensive due to the fees, which are far different from exchange rates.

The notion of having Bitcoin ATMs on every corner does sound pretty neat.  But yeah, its basically a fantasy at this point and  in my view, its not only unlikely to happen anytime soon - its straight-up hard to imagine crypto ATMs becoming as popular as old-school cash machines.  Especially in rural areas or tiny towns.  Laws and regulations present the biggest roadblock.  However, even disregarding the legal hassles these things dont come cheap.  Buying the hardware, finding space to install, securing the equipment - it all costs big bucks.  For bitcoin ATMs to be sustainable in lower-population zones, there would need to be large steady demand.  And honestly, most people still dont use crypto for daily purchases.

Bitcoin ATM is operating in many cities, we had two in my country but it has stopped operation, maybe due to unfriendly behavior of the present govern in my country towards cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance and others. For other countries, Bitcoin ATM still exist and in operation but I have heard rumor that Bitcoin ATM was a failed project. Let's take for instance, countries like Algeria and Bangladesh that have strict ban on crypto. The government considers it illegal and prohibits holding or transacting in crypto. From what I understand, users do their thing in secrecy, and if caught, they'll be subjected to fines or imprisonment.

Now, even if a company has a goal of mounting Bitcoin ATMs across each city in the world, there's no way it would go to these countries because of the hostility towards crypto. Their employees would be arrested, their equipment would be seized, and the company would lose money. So Bitcoin ATMs cannot be everywhere. They can only be found in countries with lax crypto regulations.

You are right to be doubtful about Bitcoin ATMs becoming common. Main problem is which you already mentioned that Bitcoin needs to be legal and approved in that country before any city will allow these ATMs. Governments have different opinions on cryptocurrency so it is long way off for many to fully accept it. Plus Bitcoin ATMs charge high fees making them more expensive than using online exchanges. So they'm will probably only appeal to people who want convenience or find exchanges too difficult. Because of these issues it is unlikely Bitcoin ATMs will ever be as widespread or important as you might have thought. They will probably stay small specialized service instead of real alternative to online trading.

Currently in my city there is a  bitcoin machine or ATM that is in place but only for bitcoin not from bitcoin to our money or currency, I always look at the Machine but there is no one trying to use it, maybe because some comfortable using their wallet to transfer bitcoin to an exchange which they can use for p2p transactions, instead of going to the ATM make a transaction.
