Mentors are good to have but it would be too fine, if you are able to have your friend or colleague as mentor rather than a stranger. Because, guiding you for crypto space and especially for crypto trading must be a long process which means you cannot afford to spend for mentorship for long duration and also your friend will know what you exactly need to know or what kind of explanation will be better for you to understand a concept easily etc.

Some people may be ready to guide you for free of cost still that must be a limited source in my opinion. If you want learn by heart then you should be learning in a way you could ask unlimited doubts for any time. For this reason, I suggest you to check with your friends and colleague.
Yes, you have said something important, I agree with you. It is true that a mentor is definitely needed to learn crypto trading, if an experienced mentor helps you with this, you can go a long way. I think it is not very convenient to adopt other people's strategies based on others when learning trading, but it may be that when you recharge about it together with your classmates, you will be successful easily. When I started trading, I got great success today with the guidance of one of my elder brothers. So I would say that you should trade with the advice of a mentor.
