He’s undoubtedly an excellent manager, but he’s up against a league that’s far from easy; Serie A is much tougher than other leagues. What’s more, this is yet another managerial change for Milan, yet the squad remains exactly the same, and in my humble opinion, many of the players in this team should be let go. If I were in charge, I’d sort out the squad first and make it more competitive
The team Glasner coaches is no pushover. I think almost everyone who understands soccer agrees that the English Premier League is a highly competitive league with such exciting competition that the team Glasner currently coaches—Crystal Palace—has become a destination of choice for many top players looking to take on that challenge.
I don’t agree that Serie A is a tougher league than others.
Glasner, who prioritizes Milan if he has to leave his job in England, knows that Milan is a team with an extraordinary history.
Coaching a team as big as Milan is certainly different from coaching other great teams.
I see Serie A as a much tougher league than others. It’s true that there’s a lot of competition in England and it’s currently the best league in the world, but there are rarely any surprises. That’s how I see it!
Obviously, the Premier League’s appeal is ten times greater than Serie A’s; in fact, English clubs can now spend incredibly large sums, partly thanks to TV rights.
However, if Glasner were to join Serie A, he would be an asset that should by no means be underestimated.
