If the token wasn't withdrawable, they wouldn't have made him wait for 30 days. They would have given him reasons for the block. Also, he sold off the token for some ETH which he tried to withdraw, but the withdrawal was blocked as well.  I think they are buying time for God knows what.

LBank is one of the saddest exchanges ever. I have seen a couple of projects listed on LBank that I was involved with marketing. They charge quite high, but they don't have enough users to provide liquidity. So the team just lost thousands by listing their token there. There was no volume from the exchange side. So I believe they have a liquidity issue; hence, they aren't giving you your withdrawal.

You have traded on their exchange, not with token teams. They are the ones who are holding your funds, so why should you talk with the token team? They are the ones responsible if the token is a scam. They shouldn't disable withdrawal for ETH for the tokens. This isn't the purpose of crypto trading. We can't contact each team to withdraw our funds after the trade. Just create a scam accusation with all the screenshots.

You’re absolutely right — and that’s the biggest mystery to me as well. Why, when I’m using an exchange to trade tokens, am I the one who has to contact the projects whose tokens are listed there? It’s pure idiocy. I just hope they won’t ask me to write to Vitalik Buterin next, just because I want to withdraw my ETH.

I was pleasantly surprised and updated them on my communication with the HYP project. Unfortunately, the project replies very rarely — their last message was on June 13, and I haven’t heard from them since. So, for now, I haven’t made any real progress in resolving the issue.

Yes, that’s exactly the token. This is the first time I’ve encountered something like this — I’ve never even heard of an exchange asking users to contact third-party projects. The only thing that keeps me somewhat calm is that LBank is still communicating with me and told me they’ve already reached out to the project themselves, asking them to reply to me more frequently than once every four days. I really hope this will all be resolved soon and LBank will finally unfreeze my funds.

It's good that you shared what happened to you so that others can be cautious when dealing with this less popular exchange platform. There are many top tier alternatives in the market, these platforms are safer, they are very popular, and they used and have strict listing standards, making it rare for them to host scam projects for long.

Once again, you should carefully research the currency project you are investing in or trading in, and carefully choose the exchange platform on which you deposit your funds. Don't pick randomly or without proper consideration.

I hope that your problem with LBank gets resolved soon, and afterward, you can withdraw all your funds and move them to a more trustworthy exchange not this one.

Still, if they had told me I made a suspicious or fraudulent transaction, I would’ve tried to understand what went wrong. But instead, they just froze my account and told me to contact the token project’s support, which is just plain absurd.

Quick update since my last post — basically, NOTHING has changed.
I’ve written again to the project at both email addresses provided by LBank, but still received no reply. LBank said they would try to speed things up from the project’s side, but that hasn’t produced any results either.
So in short, nothing has moved forward during all this time.

Bro, i see. The problem is that CEX is just getting even stricter, and they also often tagged the account that being funded from the wallet with suspicious activity. I also have so many friends banned just because they often used p2p.

Have you able to convert your token to the other pair like eth or sol?

I also admit it's weird when they told you to talk to the dev of the token. However, it seems i suspect dev requested them to put your address to the blocklist address. This makes sense if they told you to talk to the dev. I also often saw project developers that requested cex to ban or restrict account that involved in the fraudulent activities linked to their platform/token.

Hello everyone, good day — I want to share my good news: I finally got my funds back!

In short, here’s what happened these past days: I kept writing several more times to the HYP project’s emails, but they just ignored me. I have to admit, though, that LBank’s support stayed in touch with me the whole time and didn’t ignore me. They asked me to provide screenshots of my communication with the project, which I did. LBank also told me they were trying to reach out to the project themselves to help solve my issue — but as I understood it, the project didn’t respond to them either.

And then today, LBank told me my funds were unlocked, and I was finally able to withdraw them to my wallet.

So, that’s my story — at one point I really thought I’d never see my funds again, but in the end, it all worked out well!
