A website that does both or would different websites work? BTC to Monero works really well on ChangeNow or SimpleSwap, just don't do anything stupid to trigger the system like visiting it with TOR or sending tainted coins. You can use a residential proxy for something like this.

I'm not sure about cash for monero, and I believe that such a transaction would be an even higher risk than your usual cash to crypto transaction. It would be better to buy Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency for cash, and then exchange it on a website like I mentioned instead.

You can easily read about some decentralized and nonKYC exchange that you can do that here; https://kycnot.me/

Do not go for those like ChangeNow because they often seize people's coins. They are one of the exchanges that can give users a very bad experience when they seize their coins.

They don't, those are lies. You only trigger automated transaction blocking if you are involved in illegal or suspicious activities, and with proof you can recover your coins. I know a lot of people who use these services, and nobody ever had a problem. What you read in reviews is a fringe minority of users that have had bad experiences. The volume that ChangeNow handles is much more than anything in your list.

Do they flag for Tor regardless of small or large amount like say it was $100-$200 usd range? I suppose they ask for KYC too?

Yes they do. Most financial services sadly block TOR, but you can't blame them I think they are trying to avoid issues with regulators. Use a good double tunneled VPN with something like tails. Nobody is going to spend a lot of money to investigate this unless you are doing something extremely illegal.

I suppose they ask for KYC too?
Only if the transaction is flagged.

Try checking out the likes of Robotsats. It is a no KYC p2p platform.

Please use this clearnet link to get a functional onion link (https://learn.robosats.org/). Beware of scammers, please do ask about anything in case you are not sure. Some of the platforms pretend to never ask for KYC verification until they one day do it

I will only be suggesting cake wallet because that's what I used, it has a user friendly interface where you can easily swap your monero/XMR token to Bitcoin and the asset will be credited into your Bitcoin wallet, am talking about the Bitcoin wallet address you will put before swapping it, after it's done, like 30 minutes after your monero XMR token that was swap into Bitcoin will be credited into your Bitcoin wallet or exchange as the case may be, just give it a try if you haven't seen another option.

I don't think that there is a platform that you'll get straight cash to monero. Most of the transactions has to go through cash and then a crypto and then monero. Because if that's what you want, it only happens mostly in centralized exchanges but that's one condition that you don't like which is to go through with kyc.

It's best to stay away from anything associated with ChangeNow. They have a long history of unresolved scam cases, and your transactions may be frozen or your KYC request may be required for no reason. You can find a better list here ---> https://kycnot.me/ or post in this board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 (you need to go first because of your trust).

If you have millions of transactions, some are bound to be problematic as such is the nature of numbers. As of date I know not of a single credible scam accusation against ChangeNow, and I have never heard anyone get scammed from my contacts who have high volumes. These days everyone I know uses ChangeNow. A lot of those "credible" scam accusations are people who sent stolen or hacked coins to get exchanged thinking that they will get a quick swap. Next time the user should read the terms of service before blaming the platform for expected behavior. As for your last part, the "no reason" is always a lie. You as a user don't get to decide what is a reason and what isn't for another service, especially not one whose terms you didn't even read.

They have a rating of 4.5 on TrustPilot which confirms what I have written. Don't confuse it with Changelly which is a known selectively scamming swap website. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/changelly.com. You are just regurgitating stories that you have read online and I am speaking from experience as a user, there's the difference.

I'd strongly advise against buying Monero for cash through any no-KYC service — especially if it's sketchy or anonymous. There's zero guarantee it’s not a honeypot or that law enforcement isn’t watching. Even swapping BTC for XMR on those platforms is risky — one data leak and your wallets are blacklisted by major exchanges.

Here's what I do:
I went through KYC on Cryptomus — they support Monero, and after buying with fiat I immediately withdraw to a self-custodial wallet. That on-chain XMR withdrawal can’t be traced, so your privacy stays intact.

From there, I swap XMR to BTC using Haveno DEX. It runs over Linux + TOR, so the entire trade path is obfuscated and leaves no digital trail. Last I checked, they were also working on enabling XMR-for-cash trades — might be worth checking if that's live now.

That makes no sense. All you need to do is send the Monero to a new address. They can't block the addresses they don't know, and they can't see the address that you are sending it to. I do agree with there being some danger to it, but not the one that you speak of.

Have they enbaled xmr-for-cash? The official install process for haveno dex appears unclear how did you manage it, it's not meant to be used standalone?

It is not a house icon for this one, it is ">_" and it means that the wallet is CLI only. That means yes you can use it on a desktop, but it has not GUI.

Zeus    v0.6.0-rc3    - what's the house icon for, doesn't have a desktop icon next to it, can I still use this for the desktop
Zeus is a mobile interface to LND, CLN and Eclair. I think the house icon is for the "remote backend". No desktop as this is a mobile only wallet.

If you can't run a full node for some reason, I'd suggest you try Electrum for Desktop.

I can't say for certain because I don't use them, but generally the liquidity is low on all these services. It is simply too inconvenient in many ways, which pushes many of those who would use them into alternative solutions such as no KYC swap sites. Of course each thing comes with its own set of risks, pros and cons. For example no matter what you do on Robosats you won't get a sudden KYC request, but you are liquidity limited and it requires more setup. On more centralized solutions, there is a risk of a sudden KYC request but the liquidity is great and no setup is needed. Pick the disadvantages that you prefer and deal with it.

It’s true that Monero addresses can’t be tracked, but when you swap Bitcoin for Monero on a no-KYC exchange, your Bitcoin address can still end up on a blacklist.

I haven’t looked deeply into how Haveno handles cash deals — I just saw their announcement about XMR-for-cash trades. Personally, I only swap XMR for BTC there.

About the install: you’re right, there’s no stable release yet. You have to build it from source after setting up the dependencies (Java 11+, Gradle). Basically:

git clone https://github.com/haveno-dex/haveno.git
cd haveno
./gradlew build
./gradlew run

That’s how I run it.

That is true but you are never supposed to reuse a Bitcoin address. Therefore, this is not a real concern but rather an user error. Do not reuse addresses.

How do I integrate it with a real third-party network, they don't supply a list of third-party list.
