Well, there are several factors that can contribute to a person being happy even with a small winning like you mentioned, and one of such factors is one that you have already mentioned which is location where the person lives.
Cost of living is different in different countries, some countries have extremely high cost of living while in other countries, cost of living is low, for those who live in a country with low cost of living, $50 can be alot of money depending on what this is worth in their local currency.

And another important factor again is the person's financial state before the winning the $50, there are some financial situation you find your self in and $50 will be alot of money because you yourself know how long it will go in solving your financial issues, this is why there are always those who would be extremely happy if they win a tiny amount as even $20 from gambling, no minding the fact this is a small amount of money.

It depends on the type of gambler you are actually. For someone who doesn't stay too attached to his loss, and someone that doesn't compound his loss like keeping some kind of record of them, he may be very happy when he makes even up to $20 in his game. If I win $50, I will be happy because I rarely winning that amount. Maybe that is not too big for you but that still winning for me. No matter how much money we win, that is our winning. But we need to realize we can not always win in the games especially win big. If we can win that money, we can feel happy but we can also not thing much about our winning. Yeah, the happiest moments are usually not related to money. Imho, since money is just a tool to achieve certain goals, then by itself, the money that was earned or won in the casino won't make you happy. And I agree with you that the only exception might be very poor people, who can feel a lot of positive emotions even from winning just $50.

50 dollars is a big amount in my country. But for me personally I don't put my happiness in gambling. Yes people in my country might be happy with $50 but that money is only enough for a few days. For me personally the greatest happiness in gambling is when I don't feel happy when I win and sad when I lose. I am very happy when gambling no longer affects my emotions. I often say that the greatest victory of a gambler is when he stops gambling. That's what a friend of mine said. However, not everyone can stop. Not at all, as 50 dollars can barely pass a day spending for the food needed for that day where I live, the best day of my life I know for sure will be if I happen to hit the max win multiplier of x50.000 or more and the bet to be at least 1 dollar, I am still looking forward to that day from so many years now and luck has not been on my side. As for the person getting the 50 dollars and saying it was the best day of my life I can only see this happening in countries where inflation is at crazy levels and let me name two very different countries with the same problem, huge inflation, Argentina and Iran, both suffering from this so I assume that person to be from such or similar countries. As I said nowadays after so much time gambling the only thing that can make me happy is that huge max multiplier and I don't see any reason why I should continue gambling after hitting it, it is like waiting for the final outcome.

It's either make or break, what if I risked $100 in gambling and keep losing it bit by bit until I have nothing left and at that round shot u win $50? Will I call it a win too? I guess not because I've just lost almost $100 and in return I get $50 back.

To keep my sanity in checked I choose to risk money that's too little to cry about or feel sad about, this is the best way to gamble, see gambling doesn't guarantee you anything but loss, if you are not ready for any loss it's better you avoid gambling all together.

I don't think $50 is enough for anyone just that there are people that always express so much joy even with little amount that they win. I know that some persons will start making calculations of how much they have lost but it is really not necessary to think about your losses because that is what makes most gamblers to make wrong decisions whenever they win a small amount, they will want to use up whole winning to chase previous losses which mostly lead them to losing the amount they won and still spending part of their own money in the quest. We should emulate the spirit of contentment whenever we win, at least it is not easy to win in gambling, so when you win regardless of the amount you should be genuinely happy and don't think about how little the winning is compared to how much you have lost in your past bets.
