GMiner ASIC Firmware

The firmware was developed by mining experts, developers of the popular GPU miner GMINER. We have invested all our accumulated years of experience into developing high-quality firmware that meets all modern requirements for functionality, performance and security.
This software was developed from scratch, with its own vision of the mining process and is not a rebranding or clone.

3% is a very high fee.

2% is more normal

1.5% is good.

My mine is small about 2000th. it earns 110-120 usd a day before power cost

so 3% of that is $3.30. which is about $1200 a year

If it is based on cgminer, is the source code available as is required by the cgminer GPL license?

Well considering how regularly that statement is made and how often it is a lie, unless you have the source available to check, it's almost certainly an illegal rip off.
People usually use executable compression and in file encryption to hide the truth.

+ Added the ability to manage GMiner firmware via the Antminer API (full support for BTC Tools, etc.). The Antminer API protocol is outdated and insecure, to activate this feature, you must enable it in the "System" section.
+ Improved GMiner API security
+ Improved compatibility with hydro models
+ Improved network scanning in Toolkit, and added an "offline" status for devices with lost connection.

Note: For compatibility with the Antminer API, the password will be reset when updating to version 1.23. The default password is "root."

GMiner v1.24

New Continuous Autotuning Algorithm

The new firmware version introduces a completely redesigned autotuning algorithm. Tuning is no longer limited to a single initial run: after the first parameter selection, the firmware continues to perform fine adjustments during mining.

This allows the miner to better adapt to changes in temperature, cooling efficiency, and other external conditions, maintaining more stable and energy-efficient operation.

Key benefits:

significant improvement in energy efficiency
automatic detection of problematic chips
adaptation to changing environmental conditions
keeping chips within the optimal stability range
precise voltage selection with 0.01 V increments
smooth tuning process with minimal additional load on the power supply
The algorithm works in two stages:

1. Initial tuning
Status: Autotuning
The firmware selects the basic optimal operating parameters for the miner.

2. Continuous fine-tuning
Status: Mining
The miner operates in normal mining mode, while the firmware continues to analyze chip performance and adjust parameters in the background.

Initial tuning usually takes approximately 1.5–3 hours.
The most noticeable effect of continuous fine-tuning appears after approximately 12 hours of operation.

GMiner ASIC v1.25

Support for installation over the latest stock firmware versions
GMiner Firmware can now be installed over stock firmware versions released from September 2025 and newer. All latest stock firmware versions currently available are supported.

Improved autotuning stability
The autotuning process has become more reliable, especially on devices with BM1366 chips, including S19k Pro and S19 XP. Autotuning is now more stable on problematic chips and better adapts to the characteristics of each individual device.

Fixed temperature sensor readings on S21 XP
An issue that could cause incorrect temperature sensor readings on S21 XP has been fixed. Temperature readings are now displayed correctly.

Reset tuned profiles from Toolkit
A new option to reset tuned profiles has been added to Toolkit. You can now quickly remove saved tuning results and start the tuning process again without manually clearing data on the device.

GMiner ASIC v1.27

+ Added a built-in task scheduler. You can now schedule profile changes, sleep mode activation, and device reboots. The scheduler runs directly in the firmware and does not require Toolkit to remain running on the same network as the devices. Schedules can be configured through the device web interface, with bulk configuration also available through Toolkit.
