My exact thoughts are as those of Churchillvv, within ourselves as Nigerians we can count celebrities who are involved in the promotion of scam crypto projects, fake casinos and even fake exchanges, why are they not getting apprehended by authorities. Do we mean punishments on counterparts of any scam project isn't applicable to rich, it only affects the poor?

These celebrities easily get people to join in getting those scam projects a lot of investors and when they exit scam, they claim to be innocent and just a promoter of it after being paid.

There is need to look into that aspect also and the government should warn also theses celebrities to be at their own risk if they promote scam projects. They should be penalized for misleading the people that had trust in them. They should always do their own research before bringing up projects to promote in the crypto space because they can lure more people than the project will independently when they advertise their project through their social media handles without including this influencers.

To be honest there are lots of rug pull project out there and the most annoying part is there is no legal policy against these kinds of project so in essence I'm  saying these are legitimate scams. Just like the project one of our top musicians  popularly known as Davido launched, it was a rug pull project and a lot of persons lost their money in that project thinking it was a good project since it came from a reputable person. Including that of Trump's wife and other reputable people, so no one would hold any advertisers responsible for promoting a scam project he was paid to do it, and one of the reasons is to get his community to fall, though his pay may be small but it's all part of the game from the project owner. Though I recommend your advice to newbies to be careful not to get alot of their community involved in scams like that, but even if it happens they free as a bird.

It should also be noted that if Betpanda had been proven to be a scam, the forum would not have approved them for the signature campaign. If someone had sufficient evidence of a scam against a casino promoted on the forum, the forum would have banned it for signature campaign. Because strict action is always taken against scams on the forum. We should not worry about the promotions on the forum.

But in real life, we often see incidents like various crypto scams, which may be due to the promotion of more people. Someone may not want to study or research the project before promoting it. Without any warning, they start promoting it as their own responsibility for a small amount of money. That's true many new people in crypto are not well informed about what crypto currency is all about to them its all about making money so any crypto projects that they see is about making money so they tends to promote such altcoins without knowing the danger that such things pose they can lose money as most of them are highly unstable and some are even run by fraudster .


So to avoid regrets and failing victims of what you are ignorant about it's important that newbies should stop promoting crypto projects apart from Bitcoin as doing that could be misleading as they can even lure other people to fall victims too and this can lead them to problem with their friends.

I been don encounter this particular one before, a Guy just pm me for WhatsApp say him dey run bounty campaign say whether I go dey interested to join, first of all I ask am where him from and how in manage get my contact...... him say na person give am, I cum dey like who be the person? Him no gree mention the person name, say him wan just help me, i con dey like I complain give you say I need help? Him just dey short of words, him cum dey tell me how much I go dey earn as a promoter, way be say I no even know waiting I dey promote, thinking say the amount go move me into joining the campaign him dey surprised to see say I still turn down the offer, after some time person way participate for that campaign cum tell me say na scam, so ever since then I no dey put eye for bounty campaign again.

I know that promoting crypto projects can carry serious risk, financially, legally and ethically. i have really taken notes and trying as much as possible to avoid scams. We should all be careful out there because you can be held responsible for promoting scams or unregistered securities, some tokens my violate securities laws especially the United States and parts of Africa. A lot has actually happened due to this scam projects promoting, regulators have fined and sued influencers and some celebrities who did undisclosed and misleading promotions, so this thing can damage your reputation, if this project fails, people who followed you will end up blaming you, and once you have promoted a scam even if it's unknowingly to you, it will be hard to regain people's trust most especially in crypto communities that really really value transparency. By promoting this scams, you followers will actually lose a lot. I know it is increasingly hard to tell the difference between real or fake, let's all be careful an make deep research, check the history and  activity before we begin promotion.

Make people just dey careful for anything wey involve betting or gambling website, as scam's don too plenty.

Though e hard make person know the real one but enough research as you talk fit help the matter and e go help people self to know when them fit associates themselves for anything betting, and also make people dey careful before them go put money for where e no come out again talk more of profit and at last na them go suffer the consequences.
