I believe a lots of people have cleared their doubts. The numbers of doubtful people are actually limited, because we're in the 21st century where people consider technology more important than any thing. So they wouldn't mind using digital currency. But the problem with some people is that, they are too lazy to research in order to gain more knowledge about the appropriate ways to handle bitcoin. Even most of the Nigerians are helpless due to the current situation of the country, so they are learning to adapt and fix themselves into the world of Bitcoin, just to prevent financial crises. It is understandable if some people are afraid to invest in bitcoin, because they believe it is sac. But the truth is that, there is no any productive thing that is scam free, but continuous learning is the key to survival.

I totally agree with this topic. Research is to the mind what protein is to the body. Actually, some people's risk appetite is so low because their mind is small. I get it that a burnt child dreads fire. Yeah! Even if you have been scammed online before, research would have turned your failure to data for fueling your growth. Bitcoin is not like CBX and MMM but only a careful research can show you that. The truth is that our generation are very lazy and lacks the patience and appetite to read or study books. Consequently, anything that is not a quick fix is considered boring. I respected research more than anything when I read the story of the Nigerian Biafra civil war. Ponzi dey very different from bitcoin, na still why dem dey say make people dey research well before dem make investment decisions. They're looking for short cut therefore they deserve the scamming that they get. Shortcuts are the quickest way to lose money this is why I do not trust anything that has to do with cutting corners. Scammers are hoping that their targets are those that are looking to make fast money and using shortcut therefore they'll not have sense to do small research about what they're about to invest into or deposit their money into and this is how they scam them successfully. When we fail to do researches, then we should be ready to accept anything that happens from the actions we're taking because doing research doesn't stop you from making money as you can invest later into that projects but you first have to be sure that you're investing into the right projects so that you don't lose. Investors that don't do their research are only gambling with the money they're investing and aren't careful to prevent wrong investment. There is this saying that watin you no get knowledge on big pass you and that's the honest fact. Many people out there is with the opinion that bitcoin investment has no difference from the normal ponzi scheme stuff that has defrauded millions of Nigerians over the years. But little do they know that bitcoin investment is way more than that. However, there is this friend of mine that has declined severally on each time I try to tell him about bitcoin, citing what happened in past year's how people lost their money. Then again, must of these people's finalize their thought or conclusions based on old stories which I believe is not in anyway linked to bitcoin.

Furthermore, I always tell people that fake things don't last long, If bitcoin was to be one of what people think I don't think it would have lasted till this very time. One thing this forum has taught me is that I shouldn't just conclude about something I don't really understand but do my research to understand it better. If I don't have knowledge about Bitcoin, the right thing to do is research about it so I don't end up calling a coin with lots of opportunities scam cause people are scammed through Bitcoin/Crypto.

People should learn the habit of carrying out research, the world is not modernized to the point that with a device connected to the internet, any knowledge we seek could be easily discovered.

Many times, misconceptions about Bitcoin are responsible for considering it a scam. If someone does not verify, they may feel cheated if they invest money based on other people's words, and later the price drops. Again, when scammers use the name of Bitcoin to scam people, many people blame Bitcoin. For example, if someone runs away with money from people by promising them a guaranteed profit, it is not Bitcoin's fault, but the work of the scammer.

It is much better to take the time to learn and make decisions according to your ability than to spend money without understanding anything. Bitcoin's price fluctuates, so there is a possibility that its price may decrease. It a positive idea that you learnt this and put more thought and energy into going for research about whatever we don’t have idea about instead of following hyped and other’s opinions. We shouldn’t just make conclusions on something we have no knowledge about and accept that such thing is a positive thing or negative thing just because others says that instead let prioritize on researching and acquiring the knowledge and information about such thing to see the exact facts about that thing.

It is very funny to hear or say that our own youths in this country still have the mindset that Bitcoin is a Ponzi. Within themselves, they hear that countries are already legalising it.
