Good luck with that. DYOR would be an appropriate response to your question.

Here a couple of general tips:
There is nothing good to mine at the moment with any GPU. Unless you have free electricity you'd likely pay more you'd earn miing.
There are no differences with any Nvidia GPU with any coins as long as the GPU has enough VRAM. There may be differences between Nvidia,
AMD & Intel, some brands may be better with some algorithms.
The 3060ti, being 2 generations old, would put you at a disadvantage over the more efficient 4000 & 5000 series.
Mining with a single GPU, particularly a 5 year old mid level model, is a waste of effort regardless.

I am multi porting with my Nvidia 3060TI FE card on Equihash GPU on https://www.mining-dutch.nl mining Ycash converted to BTC.

I am overclocked @ Core@2055MHz & Mem@2000MHz @ GPU temp 59c @ hot spot @ 70c. I get "not using the PC around 50-70 Sol/s on Equihash GPU Equihash_192. And using the PC around 44-48 Sol/s.

I will see how high of an overclock I can get out of this 3060TI FE card water cooled and Sol/s on dutch-mining.

I'm thinking about dropping a few $ on an asic miner or something. Not for a while.

It makes a big difference if you have excess solar generation that can't be sold to the grid or stored in batteries.
The usual profit models don't apply. Using mining as a sink is a win-win, you dispose of excess power and generate some revenue.

I've been testing out miners for Equihash, was using EWBF CUDA 9.1 Equihash Miner v0.6 & EWBF CUDA 8 Equihash miner v0.6 @ around 42-49 actual Sol/s.

I been searching and testing miners and found one here that works and creates more Sol/s than EWBF Cuda ones above.

I made BTC 0.00000207 =  $0.22 yesterday on EWBF CUDA 8 Equihash miner v0.6. Converted from Ycash automatically set in the pool settings.

Tomorrow from this time about 4PM Chicago time, I will see what miniZv2.5e Equihsh will make for me.

Something to mess around with :/.

Wish I kept my BTC back in the day, if I recall in total through the years I had about 250BTC that was like i think 2USD up to 15USD then years later I found it jumped to in the thousands.

It was not for nothing that I wrote about free electricity, but you do not have a constant source of electricity.
$0.22 a day is very little even for poor countries, and if you are from Chicago, I don't really understand your motive for mining.

BTC was once $3,$4 and up. I'll find out what I am earning consistent mining. I been on the pc working to get my wallet pw, I have it now and now I can leave the pc alone to see what it generates from an hour from now to 24 hours from now. I get more Sol/s not using it and atm it's running at 60 Sol/s




Earnings using the PC and its not the end of the day yet.



25-26HRS from now, I will get a correct estimate per day.


It's more than $0.40 a day.

I am saving what ever I get in BTC now. I am not making that mistake again.

I would try lottery mining with free electricity. It's very hard to get rich when you mine 40 cents a day.

its better to sell your excesive power from solar than mining with old gpus, except you had mobile gpus from aliexpress, which is wasted of money
even mineable coin up by 10x still in break even at 0.1 kwh rate, cuz many zombie gpus farm will hit the cave again
