Is there any reason as to why you want an older version?

The oldest version I could find through github is 0.8 (dating from 2013): https://github.com/bitcoinj/bitcoinj/tags?after=v0.11.3

I tried checking Maven repository but with no luck either. Don't think you're going to find it.

I couldn't answer that but the release notes are available here (from 0.3): https://bitcoinj.org/release-notes#version-03

You can maybe use that to find if they changed what you're looking for.
