Donald Trump is a tyrant. What a shame for him to be the president of the most important country in the world.

Well, this is a show of power rather than politically or economically motivated. If you remember a few days ago, the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, hinted that Trump doesn't have the monopoly of power on tariffs, I think that's what vexes Trump to act that way. Trump often reacts emotionally, like women, rather than logically.

You see what is happening in Africa now, where Trump is imposing harsh policies simply because Africa refuses to take the refugees from Venezuela. Is that not blackmail? So, Trump is what he is, but he forgot that his time there is not forever.

In my opinion, when August 1st arrives, I think he will postpone all of these tariffs or lower them. There is no way these are going to stick. He has been promising tariffs since January pretty much and keeps going back and forth. Any type of tariff that is larger than 10% is just way too large, whether its 25% or 35% or 50%, these tariffs are crazy and won't last long.

That's what I'm thinking and that's what he's been doing since the tariff war started. When it comes time to impose tariffs, he will lower or delay them.

Simply because imposing such large tariffs not only damages exporting countries but also directly affects consumers and the growth of the US economy. Not only other countries, but even the US economy itself is not ready for and able to withstand such crazy tariffs.

Trump appears to be using the threat of tariffs to seek more favorable deals for the United States. He himself did not want that to happen.

When he takes oath of President he makes statement he will do everything for having USA as great again but due to his policies and tariffs things are getting worst for peoples even in the USA his most decisions are political which are making things more troubling currently he punishes Brazil for having important role in BRICS.
He needs to reconsider his few policies which can bring better results instead of going things which will make more problems for all due to recent few activities now his main target are countries those are going close to China and Russia but most chances they are not going to have changes into their policies.

You're probably right that they won't be as severe as they first time. Normally, when this news is announced, the market would react immediately but as we see, the market seems to be adapting very well and is gradually no longer concerned about the tariff war. Stocks and bitcoin continue rising despite the tariff news. But we should not be subjective because the tax only takes effect from August 1, not now, so it is still too early to say anything.

The government is putting a LOT of taxes on the population, a lot of them, and the whole government system is running out of money. You can tell there's something wrong
The population is suffering because entrepreneurs can't cope with so many taxes

There aren't good guys on this story. It's a 'bang bang' between tyranical authorities inside and now, outside the country as well. Trump claimed to be protecting the interests of his ally and ex-president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, who is possibly going to jail anytime soon.

So, in order to blackmail brazilian judiciary and government, he is imposing such taxes against the country. Well, they already became hostile on this matter with what they did in Brazil, only in our country the tax imposed is 20%, which is already high in our country and even 50% seems inhumane to do to a country. I don't know what the US wants to show.

There will be more news like this in the media soon as this is a familiar move by the US whenever they target someone. But unfortunately, this move will not work because there is no trade deficit between the US and Brazil, nor are they Brazil's largest trading partner.

Increasing tariffs or escalating tensions will only hurt both countries, and the people of both countries will bear the full consequences.
Brazil certainly will not give in because they are a country with a trade deficit with the US, not the other way around, so they have no reason to give in to unreasonable US pressure.
